Very happy with the salon as I normally go to the Hair Cuttery I’m very glad that I happen to be in the Lynnhaven area. When I walked in at 845 pm the store was closing at 9 p.m. but I was never treated like I wasn’t inconvenience I even apologized for showing up before closing and with a smile I was told it was okay. I asked for bangs and I didn’t need anything else and I was taken care of as if I were spending $ 100 and that type of customer service is priceless. My stylist talk to me took her time with my hair and even suggested products and styling tips to help me in the morning. I love the option of the app or online with the access to call ahead to let them know you’re on your way. The facility was clean the stations were tidy and organized. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is professional.

Person who answered the phone initially was warm and friendly. The stylist, first one to the right seemed to be the most skilled. The stylist in the back left, broad in the mid section, smelled like cigarettes (I don’t have anything against smokers-​im an ex-​smoker), she nicked the back of my neck, was hard and rough with the clippers, and didn’t give a shit to hear about what style you wanted —- stay away from this stylist. Wish I recalled her name. Overall, the establishment seemed ok.

I had such a great experience at this location! I was nervous about going to another chain after having a horrible experience at Hair Cuttery, but Ciera was fantastic. She took the time to educate me about my hair type and the best styles and techniques to use with my hair, and what products to use and avoid, which no one has done with me before. She was very honest about what would look good and not so good. She even showed me a couple things I could do to my hair for an upcoming wedding I was attending. Overall wonderful experience, thank you Ciera, five stars!

I’ve been a regular of many haircut chains and have probably tired them all but this is probably one of the best. I got a cut a while back from Yoyo and loved it. About two weeks ago I was at work and went to the GC out at General Booth and Damneck. Bad decision. The cut was bad! My 10 old nephew could have done a better job. Later that night I headed back the this location (Lynnhaven) and thank god YoYo was there and fixed the mess I received early that day. This is the only GC that will cut my hair going forward.

I was very nervous at first, but as soon as I started speaking with my stylist, Jessica (J. Décor) about what I wanted to do with my hair, I felt so much at ease. She did an amazing job and made sure I was completely happy before I left. She carried on conversation with me and made me feel like I was the only thing on her mind. Great service and a wonderful haircut!

One of the better haircuts I’ve had from one of these chain salons and as well, it was done by a gal («Yoyo») who could actually hold a conversation. Five stars.
