My landlord has used this company 3 times in the 18 months we’ve lived here. The first 2 appointments(for separate calls) they never showed up on their appointed day. They breezed in the next day without apologies. The 3rd time we are still waiting for resolution on the issue. We have a dryer that isn’t heating. On the day they were supposed to show up(between 10am-12pm) I received a call at 9:30am saying they weren’t going to make it and could they come tomorrow. Since I don’t work I thought no problem. Charles comes by and determines the heating element is bad though never once putting an ohm meter on it. He says he’ll get permission for the part and repair and be back the next day. He doesn’t show up the next day but Thursday(no phone call to let me know either). Thursday rolls around and he comes with the heating element but the dryer still won’t work. So he decides the censor was bad. So, off he goes to come back the next day with the censor. He’s supposed to come between 3 – 4 but I get a call at 1pm saying he’ll be here by 1:30pm. He gets here to install the censor and it doesn’t work either. With another promise to return the following day with a new censor. That day comes and goes and no repairman. We called our landlord and she told us she would call them. Today is 1 week later and still no dryer. We’ve just called them and said they would be here tomorrow. Why do businesses think they can treat people this way? What if I was employed? Would they pay me for the time I’ve been off sitting around waiting? Apparently incompetence is free but good work requires multiple visits and service call charges. I would NEVER use this company if I had to pay for it. NEVER! Updated: I was recently emailed and asked if this dryer issue was ever fixed. It was not. My landlord had to buy a new dryer.
