This place is all hype and no delivery. Also, it’s vastly overpriced. Consistently and seemingly intentionally bad communication from the instructors was a real barrier for me here. I learned more in a month training on my own than in six months with them. Ego is a huge deal for a lot of the trainers. I guess saying things like«Can you just get over yourself and train me?» was a bad idea. One of the coaches even tried to give me an injury during a handshake. He relied heavily on intimidation and tried at every opportunity to instill fear into my heart, even going as far as trying to freak me out in the locker room. To this day, I’m convinced that man may well be insane and desperately desires for everyone to think he is capable of killing dozens of people in minutes with no remorse, and I have no idea what such a mentally/emotionally unstable/weak person was doing in a position of authority.(He bragged about his bartending experience, so maybe it was just because he was an alcoholic?) It only makes me think he maybe felt threatened by me, and to me that’s just weird and makes him seem weak. I also sensed this really weird anti-asian vibe. When I left, I felt a lot of hate from many of the personnel. I judge that they were mad because I’m a great sport and not a sore loser, or even a sore winner(unlike them). Then comes the fact that I reacted to most of their advice as if it was common sense and made them feel impotent. I also theorize they were upset by my nice car, the way the girls they liked looked at me, me learning by watching them instead of adhering to the snail’s pace at which they doled out their«precious» advice, and trying to pull the wool away from people’s eyes. I guess they just wanted to scare me off so they wouldn’t be reminded of the problems they never had any intention of fixing and continue to rip people off. Also, the people who were obviously abusing PED’s stuck out like sore thumbs, not a good sight. Most people, they just try to harvest more money out of without ever really challenging them. This place is a trap. Not every championship winner is a suitable teacher. I was just trying to learn and have fun, not a good place for that attitude I guess. In all honesty, I’m considering a lawsuit against this quasi-fraudulent business. Not everyone here is a bad apple, but many turn a blind eye to abuses of authority. These people are mostly just ignorant. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I hope this review saves you money and time.

This gym is run by a great group of dedicated and talented instructors. They have a Muay Thai, Ju-Jitsu, and Crossfit programs, and classes on TRX and they are about to add a yoga class. I’m enrolled in the Muay Thai Program and for my monthy membership fee I can do two hours of training every night mon-fri. They also have classes around lunchtime mon-sat. It’s good bang for your buck as far as training goes, and they are very intense in the conditioning class. After hitting the bags for an hour you’re going to be pouring sweat.
