Jade Garden IV

Good quick Cantonese style chinese-​food. Been there for pick up and the kitchen is relatively clean (what you would expect) and staff is always helpful. Delivery is always faster than what they tell you and the food is ALWAYS piping hot! My order has never been wrong. I swear by their Hunan and MeiFun. My wife loves their General Tso’s and Sesame Chicken. We are repeat offenders… they know our address well.

My go to place for Chinese take out near work. Nothing exciting, just good and fast, very reasonable prices, seems a notch above competitors in the area. I usually get one the spicier lunch items and a small hot and sour soup.

This is a great Chinese take out place near my house. They always make it to order and by far they have the best sweet and sour chicken that I have tried around hampton roads. One day after work I decided to stop in and grab dinner. As I sat there waiting for my food, a roach was running towards me on the floor. I didn’t make a big deal out of it and tried to kill it but missed. I know that is nasty but I’m sure ALOT of fast food places have roaches! Deducted a star for the roach.

Since this place is within walking distance from my house, it has turned into my default lunch takeout place when I’m in town. Funny thing, of all of the times that I’ve been here to get Gen Tso’s, I have never once eaten in, although I do see many workers from Little Creek NAB (or whatever it is called these days) doing so. The service for them seems speedy, so even when there is a line at the counter, everyone gets plenty of time to chew on the eggrolls…
I’ve actually been all over the menu here, it is all exactly what you would expect from takeout Chinese. The lunch specials are priced right and extend up until 3PM every day! If you wander in after 3, there are also Daily Specials (that probably haven’t actually been changed in years) that are similarly priced.
The staff is always friendly and speedy with my order. If you are really crushed for time, you can call ahead and have it all waiting for you within 10 minutes.
Like many places, there is a minimum order charge ($ 10) if you want to use a credit card to pay, so if it is just you, make sure you have some Dead Prez in your wallet…$ 10 at lunch prices will have you stuffed!

I’ve been getting take-​out from Jade Garden Shore Drive for years. The food is always hot and freshly cooked (as it should be). The lunch specials are a great deal and very filling.

This place is a solid 3. Over the past few years I have eaten from here several times as it is a popular place for takeout at work. I have enjoyed every item I have tried from here. One thing I had never tried in the past was shrimp fried rice but a coworker ordered to much and let me try some, it was great. I have nothing bad to say about this place.
