Konikoff Kids

This was our 2.5 year old daughters second dental encounter; we were disappointed with the first dentist we took her to (different group). Dr. Herce and his staff did a wonderful job and were all so kind and gentle. I mean, face it: all 2.5 year olds are going to lose it! Dr Herce was very reassuring and empowering to us and our daughter stopped crying about two seconds after he was done.
I will happily travel the 45 minutes from Norfolk to bring her back for appointments. THANK YOU!

The dentist is excellent. He actually talks to me and my kids love it there. The tv’s above the dental chairs are great. They have a quiet room, plus iPads in the walls in the waiting room. We’ve never had to wait very long for the dentist. Plus weekend hours. My children are special needs and he is very understanding about their needs.

Great place! Loved our dentist and his team! I was concerned about how our daughter would react as she is special needs and nonverbal but they were all great with her and things went smoothly :-)

I am so disappointed that there aren’t any other reviews for Konikoff Kids yet! We take all 3 of our kids there and love everything about this practice! The lobby has toys, puzzles, tv, ipads, and other activities to occupy the kids while in the waiting room. There is also a room with bean bag chairs and a movie screen if one of your kids finish early and have to wait.
The staff are so friendly and wonderful with the kids. The back area where they see patients has tvs in the ceiling to watch while being worked on, another play area, the most modern technology, and beautiful murals everywhere.
Dr. David is so friendly and fantastic with the children and parents. He is gentle and explains everything as he goes. He is also funny and a natural at easing anxiety :)
I cannot recommend this practice enough! With all the amenities, I wish I could be a patient instead of just a parent. Lol
