McDonald’s

It’s hard for a McDonald’s to err on a bacon, egg & cheese biscuit. They are normally on a soft flakey biscuit wider than the ingredients rather than tall & thick. Not so this time.
I try not to indulge in this fast food delight very often. It’s saved for the times when I’m in a mad rush & have no alternate choices.
But a delight it wasn’t this morning. In addition to the offending biscuit, the bacon was horrible. It was thick, stringy and not completely cooked, I actually welcomed the hated 25mph school zone on Great Neck Road so I could attack the offending breakfast selection.
On a positive note, the employees at the drive thru were extremely friendly. And you can’t beat the location if you are in a mad dash to a doctor appointment on the First Colonial corridor. It’s also an easy, quick eat location if you are sunning on the beach.

A good example for why minimum wage should not be increased. Good employees will work hard for more money. We went through drive through. As we pulled out and were counting items in our order, the girl came smiling with another bag. Then, also, When we came back to camp to eat, our burgers were all wrong. Instead of mcdoubles we were given single cheeseburgers. Server and manager need a new line of work. No pride. Thank you for ruining our dinner, but you really don’t care, do you?

Never get the order right. The fries are either cold or burnt with no salt ever. Half the time the order is wrong. I understand it’s McDonald’s and I’m not asking for anything fancy but make the food the way it’s supposed to be made with all the right fixins. It’s not lol it is a hard job.

Doesn’t do dollar drinks or military discounts. You figure this would be a good customer draw for this location.

I’ve have received incorrect orders, attitude from management when I complained, incomplete follow up from management to provide a refund for their mess ups and most recently been charged double what I was supposed to be charged for my order. Drive thru personality is a mixed bag. Service is good when it’s good but it’s mostly bad.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast and it wasn’t busy. (Sweet) We were met by the most friendly organized employee that we have ever come across at McDonalds. It’s a nice, clean restaurant. We would stop here again if passing through.

Personnel at the drive through don’t have attitude and some even have a little personality. They have two ordering windows/​screens but I have only ever seen one in use at a time.
I only hit this place up because it’s on my way to work. Quick and easy on and off shore drive.

I rarely visit McDonalds but when I do, this tends to be the one I go to as I live adjacent to it. I keep giving them chance after chance but I can say with absolute honesty that they have messed up my order 100% of the time. I speak very clear English so perhaps that’s the issue. Perhaps one must mumble and click to get a proper order. Sometimes the fault in the order is minimal (wrong or no dipping sauce) and other times it’s just completely off the mark. Order something with NO Cheese and you’ll get some monstrosity with extra cheese. They’ll ask you if you want crispy or grilled chicken but you’ll find the opposite of what you said in your bag. The burgers and the grilled chicken are ALWAYS bone dry. McDonalds isnt supposed to be gourmet by any means but I’m sure there must be laws against serving absolute garbage. Oh but at least the exterior is less of an eyesore these days thanks to a much needed renovation (I had to justify the one star I’m required to give somehow).

New renovation late this Summer, looks much better. This was one of the most nasty McDonald’s in the area. I have seen others in chain with nicer toys, i.e. Flat screen TV’s, iPads etc. Nice effort, but not feeling it.
Outside lot clean and appearance definitely more appealing to these eyes. Tacky drive-​thru wait sign post that look like they were made by kids in shop class. Main sign out front is shot, rusted out and electrical cover exposed… YIKES!
Interior new floor tile, paint and paper. As well lavatories gutted and replaced and looked nice today.
Place had some business, but counter empty, no one in drive thru line. Front counter area had a very unfavorable odor. Purchase put in and mistake w/​combo v. non rectified before a cc swipe. Serving tray had chip in it, come on! Sandwich hot and tasty.
Great location, but never seems too busy, hu, wonder why. This place has had it’s issues with slow, poor service. Today meh, but the smell had me eating and getting out. Did they put lipstick on a pig? Foul odor, scary exposed wiring on sign and messed up order brings this down a star.
