McDonald’s

This is either a Newer McDonald’s or a remodel. Either way, it is clean and MOD inside.
The staff is always friendly.
Today I went in and their Satellite Radio station was playing studio free form jazz and instrumental blues.
I munched on the guilty pleasure of a plain triple, sitting in a stylish and pretentious booth, and looked at the rainy World through the window as the Coffeehouse Muzak gave me a delicious touch of morose irony.

Go inside! The ladies were so sweet, they made my day. This is a beautifully remodeled McDonald’s. They have good coffee and I love that they put the cream in it for you so you don’t have to open a ton of tiny little packets.

Horrible service! Guess I can’t find a good McDonald’s anywhere in va beach! Horrible horrible horrible Place!!! No service lazy incompetent employees and management!!!

If I didn’t have to rate with a star, I would have omitted the one I gave. Worst service ever, but then again they are a bunch of high school kids working here.

They did it again! I go to this McDonald’s because it is close to my job. I should have learned my lesson. Today I ordered the BACON grilled chicken club house meal. Opened the sandwich to see there was NO bacon at all, the grilled chicken was super tiny and the bread was sort of hard. I bit into my sandwich and the chicken was so dry to the point where it was inedible. My lunch was ruined and I dont have time to get something else. Very disappointed.

Friends and I just got breakfast from this establishment… the guy in the drive thru told us 19 $ and some change which seemed extremely high for what we got, but we pulled forward anyways. When we got to him to pay we handed him a 20 $ and he gave us back like 15 $ okay… This seemed more like the real total anyways so we didn’t mention it when we pulled up to get our food they handed us bags and then waited a secon and said they gave us the wrong order… haha…imagine that. Well then she waits more comes back and says she needs more money for our order… like 3 $ more. Then she takes our 5 $ waits again to bring us change. Then waits even longer for us to finally get us the «right order» we pull up a little as to not piss the people off behind us anymore. Things are missing from our order like sandwhiches. Wow. Not even hungry anymore.

So I stopped by this place again in the mid-​afternoon and the speed of service was blazing fast; something unheard of for this McDonald’s. So much so that I literally had to drive around it again and make sure it was in fact a Mickey D’s. I ended up ordering my food and was thru the drive-​thru in 5 minutes tops, maybe it was a fluke occurrence. But since it is right around the corner from my house I’ll bump them up a star. Still however unsure of the speed of service here, only time will tell.

Had lunch here — ordered a Crispy Chicken Club sandwich and an iced triple shot espresso.
The sandwich was stale and dry — it tasted like it had been sitting around for a while. The staff had trouble making my iced latte. Somehow, a large cup with ice was almost filled to the top with espresso — leaving almost no room for milk. So I switched the drink to an iced coffee. The iced coffee was weak, the coffee looked like iced tea before they added the milk. And it was terrible. I drank about a third of the beverage — and pitched the rest.
Bleah!

At least this McD’s provides napkins and straws in the drive through. At some locations those items are «by request.»
