I used this company to move and it was a living nightmare. The owner came out and assessed my house and said they would take care of all of my needs, which was a big lie. The truck was several hours late and the crew was exhausted from doing another move before me. And i was supposed to be the only move of the day. Then they left several items behind. When i called the owner to tell him his crew left items behind he came to my house to get paid. I paid him the agreed price and told me i owed him more money, he said that i was ripping him off and he could sue me for breach of contract. but there was no contract. i initially had to beg him for a quote and to shut me up he texted me a price. What a joke. and when i wouldn’t pay him more money he left extremely mad. I am a single mom and was there with my children and he made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He was very confrontational and intimidating. There were a lot more things that went wrong, like breaking my belongings, not shrink wrapping any of my furniture, and not having any moving materials whatsoever like blankets to protect glass and art work. I was in tears at the end of this. Do not use this company. i cannot believe they are still in business.

I had a horrible experience with Mini Movers! If i could rate it with no stars I would. They were to be at my home in VB at a specific time and did not show. I called them and the owner stated that they got delayed but were on the way, would be at my home in 15 minutes. After my call with him, 45 minutes passed and still no movers with a truck. An hour later the owner finally showed up with a van to move my things which was a three bedroom town home. I was more than dissatisfied with this service and company. I asked the gentleman where the truck was and the rest of the movers. I also told the gentleman, the owner, there was NOWAY he was going to be able to fit my things in a van and without help! He stated they were short handed, he came in my home to look at all that needed to be moved and then stated he would have to go to Norfolk to get the truck and more help. At this point I was so frustrated and let down by this company, my husband told the gentleman not to come back and this is no way to run a business especially when you make a commitment and are three hours late! Moving alone is stressful and when you add an unqualified company to the mix, which by the way makes a commitment, it makes it that much more stressful… I would strongly advise not to use this company!

I would strongly advise not using mini movers. I had an 8am appointment for a 16 ft truck and two hours of labor. They finally showed up at 4:15pm over 8 hours late. They brought a 12 ft van which was not what I paid for. They spent maybe 15 minutes in my Virginia Beach condo moving stuff out and I had a hard time making sure they grabbed everything. They left my condo at 4:30 and did not get to my house in Ghent till 6:15. It should absolutely not take that long to drive 15 miles on 264. They finally admitted that they went and helped on another job during that time. I was worried they had disappeared with my stuff. One guy threw a chair off of the beach condo balcony. I was planning on throwing the chair away anyways, but I have no idea why he would throw it off the balcony. It made a big mess that I had to clean up. I also was charged an additional $ 50 at the end of the move(I used a living social deal). The fee was for mileage. They might be reasonable but I was told when I set the appointment up that the living social deal would cover everything and I was up front about the miles that would need to be traveled. Mini movers made my move super stressful, inconvenient, and expensive.
