I’m actually sad to write this review. I have been to this location several times and always loved the food. Today, not so much. The pizza crust seemed a little thicker than normal and flavorless. Most of the time this pizza comes very close to authentic NYC pizza but today for the first time in years, I could’ve made a frozen pizza and it would’ve tasted better. I hope this is an off day and not an omen of things to come. This is one of my favorite pizza places and I really hope the food is not going down in quality and taste. I will come back but if it is like this again, that will be the last time. Very sad now… So why the 3 stars? Because this is the first time I’ve not liked the pizza and it’s not that it was inedible, some people may even like it, if you like bland, tasteless things. I can guarantee you one thing, no NYer would ever think this represents their pizza in any way!

Always GREAT pizza! Have also had the wings. They were really good. Big and meaty.

Came based on the review by «ex New Yorkers». Well I am not sure where in New York they were from but probably not from the City. As an ex Brooklynite I know good New York pizza and this is not it. It is ok pizza but don’t expect anything special. One of the toppings we had was garlic. While there was a good amount of it, it had no flavor. We also had the fried mushrooms, the insides were so soggy they were un edible. They did substitute the fried zucchini and they were fine.

Just ordered take out from here. Ordered two medium pizzas well done. One with pineapple and bacon and one with sausage and pepperoni. They came out GREAT! Getting it well done was a good for the meats. The sausage come crumbled which is nice and the bacon is crumbled as well which is normal. I have also eaten in here before, the place is small but is a nice place to go to catch up with a friend and chat. You can sit there for a long time without really bothering any one. You fill up your own drink and there are enough booths for other customers to come in and sit down. Overall, have made this place our go-to for ordering pizza. Used to be Y-not in the next shopping center over but we have shifted over here because it is less crowded and we like the pizza better. Yum!

I’m a fan! My husband and I are ex-NewYorkers so we are always trying to find New York style pizza and I was surprisingly very happy. Best pizza I’ve tried in the area so far. I normally order their Gyro and I have to say it’s pretty darn good!

There are some great local pizza places in Vb, but this is not one of them. We ordered the«garlic bread» which was just a very thin pizza crust with some butter/oil and a little garlic type flavoring. uh. OK? Also a half cheese/half pepperoni pizza. The pizza tastes like the type of pizza you would get at the airport or food court at the mall– generally very underwhelming. My husband agrees with me which is really saying something because he likes Chanello’s. Chanello’s I say!(IMO only acceptable after your blood alcohol level has reached .60 percent or higher) From reading the other reviews, it seems like the niche here really seems to be the lunch specials and i wont discount them for that. I really wonder how the sub/gyro scene is, maybe that would make it worth it. A five or six dollar lunch is a pretty good deal. If you are looking for that sort of thing, maybe this is your place…

Ordered a calzone and 2 subs from our hotel for delivery. Food arrived within the specified time, and was delicious! The subs were still very hot, the bread was very fresh and the calzone was full of cheese and pepperoni. I would recommend this place and oreder from here again.

North End Pizza is a tiny establishment in the Great Neck Village Shopping Center. The anchor store in this strip is a Food Lion. I had a couple of slices here for lunch on Tuesday and this is your typical middle of the road utility pie. Slices are large and very thin. The taste however is pretty neutral all the way around. Nothing stands out as great nor bad either. Just kinda ho-hum here it is. There’s nothing special about this pie. What they do have a good lunch special and you can get two slices and fountain drink for $ 5.00. So proportion wise you’re definitely getting your moneys worth. They are also other choices on the menu like subs etc. I was unable to find a carryout menu. To sum it up they’re good for a once over. I would give them 2.5 stars if I could. Maybe you’ll like it more than I did. If I lived near here, I would probably use them every now and then but in my opinion they’re definitely not worth going out of your way for.
