Over the years, the prices have gone up quite a lot with Pier 1. But in the last 6 – 12 months I’m noticing pricing is coming down a little and they’re offering a lot more coupons and sales prices. Glad they added online shopping back to their site (never should’ve gotten rid of it — horrible move) and even happier I can order online and pick up at the store.
This particular location is easily one of the best in Hampton Roads, IMHO. It’s a great size (their stores need to be large) and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I also find they keep inventory on hand a little better than other locations.

I’ve always been a fan of Pier 1 but until recently couldn’t afford to shop there much.
I love their office furniture and small decorative accents scattered throughout the store.
I love the location of this store in the shopping area at Red Mill.
The ladies inside are always very polite and helpful and try to go out of their way to help me find what I’m looking for or suggest items to meet my needs.
