I’m giving this place 3 stars. They have the most bang for their buck when it comes to gold. I compared all the other jewelers around them and the only one that compared to Reed’s was helzburg diamond. They had nice heavy gold with a nice price but Reed’s came out on top when it came to the warranty. They don’t require you to bring in your jewelry to be inspected monthly or quarterly. They cover everything. And every time I come in I get my engagement ring cleaned for free. The only disappointing part of my experience was there were only 3 people working on the weekend and it took a while to get service and when I finally did they wouldn’t let me pay my jewelry off with my debit card they required cash or check. My tax return was direct deposited into my bank account and who carries checks now a days? Good jewelry but a little crummy on the service. Rand Gold was the guy who usually takes care of me and he wasn’t there today.

Drove over an hour to see there Forevermark diamond collection, the gentlemen that helped us was very good and knew a lot about diamonds. I was able to get the ring my fiancé loved and knowing I purchased a really nice diamond.

What can I say? Reeds is a typical jewelry store that specializes in wedding sets and deals high end designers such as Rolex, Tacori, Scott K, Ippolita and a bunch load more. Lots of beautiful jewelry at all different price ranges for whatever you may be looking for. I myself have never purchased anything here but I have certainly been to a few different locations since this is where my wedding set came from and it is covered under their insurance plan for free lifetime repairs. I recommend investing in this if you buy from here. I go in every 6 months for the prong checks and re-rhodium plating and have never had issues with anything, however, this specific location send its pieces out to an offsite jeweler that is covered through their company. I almost cried when they told me it was going to take almost 2 weeks last time I took it in and today, I wanted to throw something and scream when they told me it was going to take 4 weeks. Are you effing kidding me? A MONTH without my wedding rings? This pisses me off mostly because they have a jeweler ONSITE, but apparently he isn’t an actual Reeds employee and warranty items cannot be touched by him. Whatever, I get it, but it still sucks. The other locations in different states I have visited always filled my requests on site so I guess its just because of the higher volume of people and lack of locations in this area that makes turn around time so long.

I have to give this place 5 stars. I don’t know much about Reeds — really I thought they were a fairly small operation but the guy in the store told me when I visited last that they are one of the largest Rolex dealers in this entire area… which must mean they’re doing something right. I broke some of my Tiffany and Co. jewelry and needed to have some links repaired and some soddering done and no other jewelry store in the area would even touch it. Sure I could send it back to Tiffany and Co. in New York but if you have ever tried to have them repair something it’s a nightmare, they say if they find something«structurally» wrong with the integrity of the piece they will force you to repair that too or they won’t fix anything. It’s as bad as a car dealership. Sheesh — so I was trying not to do that. Finally, after stopping everywhere else in the mall, Reeds agreed to do it, quickly, in-house, for a good price and with no attitude. On another occasion I needed some links removed from my new Tiffany bracelet and stopped in — the manager at the time, Barry(this has been about 2 years), took a long time showing me the links they had — finding more, giving me his opinion, etc. In the end he suggested that I didn’t do it there because their links, even the smallest, were too large for the bracelet and would look weird. He was so friendly and polite and at no time made me feel like he was rushed or didn’t want to help me. It was great. I told him that if I ever needed anything repaired I was coming to them. They do their repairs in-house in the back and have a jeweler who does it on-site without shipping it off… which I really prefer. Their prices are rather steep — but they have a nice selection of jewelry and a great repair shop there. This place is tops if you ask me and need something fixed or sized.
