Awesome thrift store! This place is down the street from me so its very tempting. Prices can be high for certain things. But I’ve found many old things that I love to collect as well as really good household items. My only complaint would be that I wished they had more plus size clothing on a consistent basics. But overall 1 of my favorite ones to go in the area.

Good prices friendly staff! Only been to this location once but after reading an article about thrift stores and what percentage actually goes to charity, I learned that the Salvation Army has a sterling record of giving back and the CEO gets paid very little. Clothes were arranged neatly and all bric a brac was shelved in cubes or along the sides. The prices are reasonable considering that I have seen many Goodwills shooting up prices and other stores creating«boutique» areas where prices are way up there. The guy working there at the time worked a deal with me on a item that was damaged and I appreciated how friendly they were. Good location.

HUGE! ORGANIZED! Men’s section is in the front and everything is organized and labeled by clothing type. Shoes are organized by color-so find the color you like, then the style/shoe, then pick it up and pray it is your size. Women’s wear is in the back_blouses, sweaters, dresses, gowns, pants, skirts etc. There is also a large selection of linens/blankets. I heard a woman cooing over baby blankets. The furniture selection is huge. And there are many really nice furniture items here in great condition. Beautiful bedroom and living room furniture. They even have huge 4-foot-taall dollhouses.

I had a thing about Salvation Army and their competitors. They were always for dropping off stuff I didn’t need any more. A guilt-free way of disposing of, basically, trash. WELL I AMSORRY. I WASWRONG. I have a need for a black jacket as I will likely be attending a funeral very soon. So rather than head over to Men’s Wearhouse and spend $ 150, I took a friend’s advice and popped over to the Sally Army to see what they had in stock. I had a choice of two perfectly suitable black jackets, both of which fit, both of which looked really good and both of which were waaaaaay less than $ 150. Yes, Wednesday is customer appreciation day at Salvation Army. All clothing is 50% off. So I not only didn’t pay $ 150 for this jacket, I didn’t even pay the marked price of $ 7 for it. I walked out with change from a $ 5. Yep, I’m pleased. The store is neatly organized and the racks are full of deeply discounted clothing, housewares and probably enough vases to take care of every need you might have. Nice work, Salvation Army. Nice work.
