Shore Cuts Barber Shop

Went there to get a full shave (dome included) and they sat me down with a fella who looks 16. He shaved my head with a typical three bladed razor (they had plenty of straight razors mind you) and he didn’t even swap the old one out.
That is unprofessional, unsanitary and completely unacceptable. I was not impressed with my first experience but I’ll try again in the future just not with Dirty Dan the Trashcan Man.

Husband asked for a small fade since he grew his hair out and beard after he got out of the Marine Corps. Took 2 months and all he needed was a little trim!!! What does he get!!! A shaved head and his sideburns, beard, and mustache looks awkward with his hair cut. So thank you for ruining his hair the day before we leave for Ireland! This place is horrible!
**So after calling the Manager Kim she told us to come in and she will fix it! Oh my gosh! She did an amazing job on what hair he had left. She knew what to do and gave up tips and pointers on the beard. She did a fantastic job on his hair and beard. My husband and I are so excited for the amazing job she did. He will be coming back for her specifically. She didn’t charge us for anything and we tried to give her a tip but she would not accept it but she earned it for fixing it before we leave for our trip to Ireland so I made her take it. Thank you Kim! You Rock!

Love the warm shaving cream on the back of the neck and the strait razor shave around the ears. Very old school. I’d recommend this shop to any military members in the area.

This is the sort of place where every person that walks in is greeted by one of the barbers. As often as not they know the person’s name, ask about their kids, and chat with them for their whole visit. I thought going at 2 PM would be a quick in and out, but they were actually quite busy. This place is cash only so come prepared.

It is hard to find a good barber shop. Shore Cuts is not good it’s great. The place was recommended to me after I receive yet another terrible haircut from on of the many barbershops I had tried in the VA Beach area. I have not been disappointed since I first had my haircut here. It is nice to finally get a taper without having lines. All the barbers do a good job and they are also great with kids. My step son and I go in once a month and they treat him (and me) like royalty. He used to hate haircuts and now he would go every week and I took him.
If you want a great haircut at a great price this is the place to go.

Got a good straight razor fade here. To a Marine, a good haircut place is like gold. So jackpot! Plus they give you a military discount which sold me on it. Glad I came here as there were many places closer to where I live. Open from 9am to 7pm. Try it out if you want a good haircut.

Never a bad cut here. I have gone several times, and found this is one of the few places that actually uses scissors! On Wednesday, they give a military discount of $ 2 or so, and they have a ton of sports magazines and pennants. I usually go mid-​week when it is empty, and enjoy the hot shaving cream and straight razor fade.
