I actually followed Genesis from her old salon to this one. She is one of the best hair dressers I have ever had! Who else can make you a beautiful platinum, than rich mahogany in the fall and a cool ombré in the spring without missing a beat? She is amazing.
Simply Chic is great — the owner is super friendly and enjoyable to be around. They always have fresh coffee from the Keurig. It is clean and the atmosphere is super relaxing. And, they have the best shampoo chairs ever — they recline and everything.

nestled in a strip mall somewhere in the suburban jungle of va beach is amanda and her Simply Chic Salon — an oasis of comfort for those with a precious head of hair to «mane-​tain.» the shop is clean, ordered and nicely appointed with amanda delivering a carefully crafted style with her own brand of bubbly personality.
appointments are easy to make and if amanda doesn’t have any, she’ll offer to stay late — now that’s service! (but don’t make her do that, she’s too sweet.) amanda goes above and beyond, making sure you’re extra happy with your do before you leave. somehow your hair willl magically smell great for days and the cut ages like a fine cut of angus beef.
