Starbucks

Even though I’ve never been inside this location, I enjoy the container look Starbucks is giving some of their locations (hopefully not all though — I still enjoy my work sessions inside once in a while).
Everyone is extremely nice in this location though, just talking to them makes my mornings as they always make a point to ask how I am and what’s in store for my day — sorry people behind me, they’re just that nice! Hopefully, to everyone. For some reason, they can sense when I’m feeling especially tired and manage to give me a treat and a nice little chit-​chat. They know how to not be annoying at it too (socially awkward problems), so I never feel uncomfortable when ordering and taking my time.
As for drinks and food, it’s Starbucks. What can go wrong there?

Meh. Three incorrect drinks out of the last four visits. Customer service at this location isn’t what it used to be.

The staff is friendly enough. But I can’t say I left here with a good coffee at all. The last time, I had to actually drive back to have them redo my coffee. It was flavorless, and I couldn’t even taste the coffee. The second time they did it, it was the same. And I didn’t even bother for the third time.

We were given the wrong drinks and shift manager was rude and said we were taking advantage because she was black then tried to charge us twice.

I passed by the drive thru just now and they told me it was closed. This Starbucks doesn’t open @5am.

Extensive opening hours, friendly staff, plugs to power your electronics in this smaller air conditioned and clean Starbucks with a drive through, design mugs, healthy snacks such as the Kind bars with 5g sugar, meals and temptations such as the $ 1.95 flourless chewy chocolate cookie…
Free parking was available…

This particular Starbucks has forgotten to put espresso in my vanilla latte twice now. Thanks for the steamed vanilla milk, guys. Wish I could have had a little caffeine with that. Sigh.

Friendly Baristas. Always a great customer experience at this location. They always take the time to ensure your order is correct and if not will quickly resolve the issue.

I always have wonderful friendly service here and the drive through is speedy! I left off a star for the one major downfall– the product is consistently inconsistent. I order the same drink every time: venti iced coffee, soy, three pumps of classic. I don’t believe I’ve had the same drink twice! Some days it’s really sweet, other days it’s heavy on the soy, sometimes it tastes like there’s almost nothing in it besides coffee. Is there a better way I could order this so that I’m getting what I expect? I don’t blame the employees, but Starbucks is certainly missing a step in training them! I’ll still be back for my caffeine fixes.

Very small footprint Starbucks, but they still have friendly baristas and they will still make you your special manner of caffeine. It’s otherwise a good location with a drive through. Just really small on the inside.

I have a lot of favorite Starbucks in the area, and this is one of them. I always go here after I make my trip to Sam’s Club which is down the street from this location. Sometimes the drive thru line wraps around the building but it goes quick, unless you have someone in front of you doing a complicated order. But its ok. The lady who takes your order at the drive thru is so nice. Kudos to her for being so friendly and always having a smile on her face. You don’t see that much anymore these days.
This particular Starbucks is small and parking is limited. If you’re here to meet with friends, this is not the place to do so. Other than that there is nothing else for me to say. Enjoy your hot cup of coffee or frappuccino as you read this!

This poor Starbucks begins Unilocal life at a disadvantage, because almost the only time that I come here is when I’m dropping off a car next door so that the people in the Service Department can race it around the block, take it to lunch, wait 4 hours, then call and tell me that the flux capacitor has to be replaced but they don’t expect the part to be here for another 4 hours. Then they put the car in the back lot until I call for the 30^th time, at which point they bring it back into the garage, put some paper floor mats in it, and hand me a bill for $ 753.37.
Needless to say, the staff at this Starbucks have gotten to hear me at my worst. Let’s consider the half conversations they hear during a typical James R visit:
«Yes, this is he.»
«It will take HOW long??»
«You want HOW MUCH??? Is your abacus broken today? You know that this is a Honda Fit and not a Bentley, right?»
«Do I really look that stupid?»
«I’m coming right over, don’t touch a damn thing on the car. And I’m bringing my lawyer. What? Yes, of course. Put the paper floor mats in.»
In essence, this poor Starbucks is merely a backdrop for the human tragedy that is car repair… but…if they were to get it wrong, the Unilocal Elitist Coffee Snobs would be all over the place with negative star ratings. After all, it is much safer to take it out on a barista armed with a steamer and a green apron than an auto mechanic equipped with Protective Eyewear and an impact wrench. «I give this Starbucks two stars because they tightened my lug nuts too tight and used soiled paper floor mats. The hot brown liquid stuff they put in a paper cup was pretty good, though.»

I’m surprised that there aren’t any reviews for this Starbucks along the BLVD. There is usually a line for the drive-​thru and the mornings are really busy. First off, my review might be slightly biased because this Starbucks is literally 10 feet from my work. I get my morning drink almost every single day and sometimes even an afternoon drink. Yes, I know I am addicted and it’s bad!
Anyways, since I’m a regular, I’ve been helped by pretty much all of their employees. The baristas are very friendly and know me by my name. I recall a handful of times when my drink was already prepared before I even paid. They get bonus points because my drink has certain specifications. That’s awesome customer service! I honestly don’t know how they manage to remember so many customer’s drinks.
I have been a customer at a lot of Sbux locations in Hampton Roads, but this location makes my coffees, lattes, and fraps the fastest. I also don’t think they’ve ever messed up on anything either.
