Taylor Maid

This is a great company! My husband and I purchased a three hour cleaning groupon for our 2,250 square foot house. We had the basic clean done. The cleaning was done beautifully, just as well as I would have done myself, if not better. The communication was handled professionally and promptly. If you’re looking for a good cleaning company in the Hampton Roads area, use this one!

I had Emily clean my house, I have three dogs an a newborn so the house was in a state of chaos. She showed up right on time and was clean, courteous and professional. She went about her work as quite as a mouse and cleaned a 1700 sf house top to bottom in three hours. She did an excellent job and was very thorough, I would absolutely recommend this company and I will absolutely be using them again.

We hired Taylor Maid b/​c we needed light cleaning for our move out. To say we were «disappointed» would be an understatement. When I arrived at the end of the clean, I literally had to ask the maid what was performed while she was there, b/​c I wasn’t able to note much difference after her being there for multiple hours.
We were shocked with the lack of work performed and poor quality of what was done. There was not one thing we didn’t need to go over again once the maid left. We are clean people naturally, we simply hired the service to help during our move. Our main objective was to have the place move out ready –Meaning fridge, floors, windows and bathroom presentable and clean. After the maid was there for 4 hours cleaning an empty house, the floors were smeary from a dirty mop, the fridge wasn’t even touched, the microwave wasn’t wiped, and you could still see a toothbrush ring on the bathroom counter. I could go on with complaints, but I hope the point is received. Atop it all, when we called the owner to discuss, her response was that we could pay to have the maid stay longer. What we should have been offered was a refund as her maid service only costed us more time and money.

I had Stephanie cleaned my house. Nothing really special it was clean. Was expecting windows to be cleaned but whatever. She did a great job. Came late and left early that’s one thing but other than I’m okay with everything.

I called Taylor Maid because I was moving into a new place that definitely was not cleaned well by the property management company. I walked in after Taylor Maid was done cleaning and was AMAZED at how well it was done. Grease, grime, things I thought would never come up… gone! I HIGHLY recommend their services! I was so impressed I now have them cleaning my home once a month! Very happy

I bought a GroupOn coupon for services I needed done for a move out. I wasn’t surprised that for a move out they charge an extra $ 29.99. At least they allowed me to use the coupon. Many companies I contacted, that offer GroupOn vouchers, wouldn’t…
There was some mix up on the day of cleaning. Apparently, the woman who was supposed to do the cleaning got the day and time mixed up. No bueno and a huge inconvenience as I had services at my other house that needed tending to. Luckily, Brittney Taylor (owner) kicked into gear and found someone to do the work. She was a little young and just didn’t give me that, «I’m going to do a good job with your house.» kind of feeling, but she was a hard worker. If this wasn’t a move out, I probably wouldn’t have been comfortable with her doing a regular cleaning. I have raised three teenagers and they couldn’t care less about being careful with your breakables.
I’m thankful they didn’t charge me the extra move out fee… I’m sure due to the time/​date confusion. I’d probably use them again, for regular cleaning, but would request a more seasoned maid.
