Ok. I gave this place a great review previously based on their great service and new renovations recently.
However shortly after my visit, I got sick. Very sick. My friend went back to inform them that I was sick due to food poisoning.
The mama get simply gave her a pat on the shoulder and said «tell her to go see a doctor and let me know».
Yeah. But I mean I guess I don’t know exactly what a wanted from them at the time. I brushed it off.
My friends and I returned late last night. Surprise surprise. We all got sick till morning.
Never coming back. Sorry Wendy’s. We tried.

For a place where the main side is french fries, they had no salt in the whole store and the ketchup dispenser was broken.

My husband and I were tired and didn’t want to make dinner so Wendy’s it was. I only checked in for the sole purpose of getting the free frosty. We showed the cashier and he said ok and rang us up. We didn’t get our receipt until the second window, it was in one of our food bags. After we left, I looked at the receipt and guess what was on it… the frosty. Fail.

I waited forever just so I could get cold food needless to say I was not satisfied probably won’t be going back

I’ve used their drive thru on several occasions on my way home. Last time I went the drive thru was backed up so I decided to go inside. I will never eat food from this Wendy’s ever again.
A review from 2013 mentioned a fly problem. Yeah, apparently they are still a problem. Disgusting.
The food prep area is actually designed so that you can’t see what is going on. They’ve even added another partition do you can’t try to peak around the corner of the counter.
The cashier was nice but completely clueless. I watched her handle money and then bag food.

Service was slow. Waited 15 mins for a four piece nuggets. Gnats and flys everywhere. I complained and was told nobody cares. Needs suprise insp. will not eat there again till it improves

Wendy’s food is pretty much the same everywhere so I won’t really get into the food here. This Wendy’s is not easy to get into due to the stupid way Virginia Beach has their roads setup. Most require U-​turns as does this one to get to if you don’t just happen to be on that side of the road as there is a barrier there. I realize that’s not their fault but that’s just something to note that it can be a challenge to get in here, especially with the utterly ridiculous Virginia Beach traffic that makes me wonder how any sane person can seriously live in this place without going mad?
Anyways, they were decently friendly at this Wendy’s and I did get a small, free Frosty for checking in so that’s cool but the reason for the 2-​star is simple, their floor was greasy as hell and very difficult for me to walk on. Considering I’ve had 7 knee dislocations and major reconstructive knee surgery I’m very aware of things like this and many of you out there are also in the same boat. If you’ve had leg/​ankle problems or use a cane, etc, you will probably want to steer clear of here.
I’m not sure if the very slippery, very greasy floor is just a weird thing that will be fixed tomorrow when they mop or not but I will not be back to find out, there’s too many other fast food places, including other Wendy’s, with non-​greasy, non-​floors of slippery death and knee dislocating capacity that I can eat at instead.

I like Wendy’s so I’m glad this one was nearby. They are open decently late. You also get a free frosty for checking in. I need to collect on that. My wife’s spicy chicken nuggets were dried up and hard but we came around and they gave us fresh ones. Overall i’m happy with them. Just wish they did 24hr drive-​thru especially being right off of an exit.
