I do have to say, that they are not stingy on meat, like most sub places. Since I only like meat and cheese in my sandwich… that says a lot. But the pastrami was very bland. No flavor. No pepper on the edges… it was odd. But if you like bland, there ya go.

This USED to be our favorite sandwhich shop in town. I have to say I believe the changes for the worse occurred about 6 months ago. Over the summer I went in to the shop at about 5 p. m on a hot evening. No one was in the shop other than myself and 2 employees. Upon walking in I realized it was hotter inside than outside and it smelled… not pleasant. I ordered our 3 sandwhiches to go. I sat down and realized how filthy everything was. The glass windows were dirty with handprints, the picture glass was greasy. the tabletops were sticky and smeared with mysterious yuck. Under the tables was dirt, footprints and old food crumbs (lettuce, bread) the kitchen swing door had been ripped off the hinges. I finally got my food and left. When I got my food home all of it was warm not from the quick drive home but from the heat in the shop itself the mayonnaise, the cheese the meat, limp veggies very gross and super unpleasant. Disappointed we emailed the owner who quickly responded apologetically sending a 15.00 gift card to get us to give them one more try. About 3 months after the incident we returned for lunch. Absolutely nothing had changed except the A/​C was working. Upon entering we were told right away that we could order nothing that needed to be toasted or heated. We sat outside at dirty tables– there were 5 employees there and only 1 working. Everything was still dirty tables, floors, walls the kitchen swing door was still ripped off the hinges. My sandwich was terrible the lettuce had what looked like worm or bug tracks on it, it was brown and gross. After returning my sandwich all they did was put more lettuce on it and give it back… there is clearly a lack of management and cleanliness standards at this store. The employees were talking, leaning, standing around and chewing gum some had gloves on but were touching their faces, pulling up pants and using the register then making sandwiches with the same gloved hands. Ewee Clearly you are risking the possibility of getting food poisoning at this place. I would never recommend or go to this shop again.

This is my second favorite sandwich shop in the sandwich shop chains, had very good service very clean restaurant and I heard to Tulare will have its own soon =)

Ordered a sandwich to go tonight. The avocado is completely brown and it tastes really bad. I can’t even eat this sandwich. What happened to this place? I won’t ever be going back.

The cleanliness of the place is lacking very bad. The worker making the sandwiches wore gloves but they kept pulling up their pants and wiping the counter and sandwich remnants and then would touch the sandwich makings. This was very upsetting. Also the register worker just stood there and wouldn’t help the other employee making the sandwiches – which is a bit ridiculous since they were very busy. I don’t know how you could make so many sandwiches with just one person while another just stands there. The sandwiches were very good– just the health standards need to be checked.

Good sandwiches but POOR customer service !! The girl in charge said they cannot do phone order and they shut the registers down at 745 but they don’t close till 8pm! Went in at 755 (I called first to order but no phone orders) !! So pretty disappointed ! I know they were closing and I was gonna take my food to go ! So deli delicious sorry to say you lost some customers !!!

Love their sandwiches but for about the past year the fryer is broken every single time I have gone in. Also, there’s always ingredients missing from my sandwich that are supposed to be on it. It’s getting old.

Absolutely love this place! Sandwiches are always on point and I’m greeted by seemingly happy workers. I eat at both Visalia locations but I do have some words of advice.
1. At the Mooney location the food prep area is set up with the sammich gods/​goddesses with their backs to customers. I think (if possible) can you rearrange the prep area to face the customers? You would have to move the chip cart but I’m sure you can find somewhere to put it
2. Whoever the peppy Bleach Blonde is… keep her around. She brings good vibes to either location I see her at. I think her name was Melissa. She is an asset to your company.

Absolutely loved the sandwich. Employees were very friendly. Will become a regular stop.

This was terrible service. I ordered a number 24 which is supposed to be a cold sandwich made with turkey, Swiss cheese, sprouts, and avocado. When I got home to eat it, I was sadly disappointed; there were no sprouts or avocado, no mayo and they toasted the bread. This was a horrible sandwich. My wife also had a bad experience. She had ordered a number 26 which is supposed to have avocado as well and it had almost no avocado in it. This was a terrible experience and we will not be returning to this location.

This place is great, I really enjoyed the sandwich. The staff is nice, friendly and fast. I ordered the 25.(Salami, Avocado, Sprouts & Swiss Cheese) Small (6″), White French Roll with Mayonnaise, Mustard, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Red Onions, Black Pepper. Highly recommended.

This place is pretty good. It’s one of the better sandwich places in town. They do have really good ranch dressing which I use for dipping my beer battered fries in. The employees aren’t always friendly. I didn’t like that one time while I was in there the manager was yelling at one of his staff. It was degrading to her and it was over something worth yelling at. I haven’t seen that manager there in a while. Maybe he got canned.

Tuesday nite we walked in famished~. Staff was cheery & friendly.
Ordered the large turkey, bacon, avocado, & provolone sandwich with everything. It did not disappoint! Delicious, yummy, amazing~
Made 3-​trips to the napkin dispenser to soak up all of the goodness that had escaped our mouths!
My taste buds are in a state of euphoria.

Great food but the workers are the most miserable people on the planet earth. I will be getting my food to go from now on to save myself from the attitude squad.

Food is great and the place seems clean makes me hate to say the customer service is not good at all. The men up front aren’t bad but it’s the rude girls in the back with the attitudes making me not wanting to be here. Leave the attitude at home and don’t roll your eyes at people everything they walk in.

They’ve got some really good and fresh sandwiches which are comparable to some of the best I’ve ever had. The cashier is always very nice and attentive and the food is always as the name implies delicious.

Awesome as always, I get the French dip with Chipotle sauce and jalapeño, best ever, even without jalapeño if you don’t like the slight spice. This place is always clean, staff are not rude and clean. Love this place.

We now officially prefer the shaw ave fresno location. Last couple of times here at visalia, the employees looked dirty and hair not proper for food preparation. The dress code was bad to begin with and now it just looks to be getting worse. Sandwiches are still good. But if they do not get the dress and grooming right soon, we might not be back.

Food is great but customer service is lacking. The employees seem annoyed when you walk in and do not make customers feel welcome. I avoid going there because the service bothers me that much.

3 stars for the food and only the food. I like their veggie sandwich and beer battered fries as well, but they lack customer service! I’ve been here twice and on both occasions the workers did not greet me and they seemed annoyed. The ones behind the register did not ask what they could get for me today but instead stood there quiet, and standoffish. Work on it and maybe I’ll bump it up to 4 stars.
