Ivan’s has a great staff that cater to the needs of the customer, and does so with professionalism that is rarely seen in barbershops. The atmosphere is always positive making it suitable for children and women. I’ve never been displeased with my haircut, each time it is nothing less than perfect. I Highly recommend this shop if you’re looking to get a great cut. Each barber exemplifies excellence, as it pertains to their craft. They are always on time, dressed in uniform, and eager to work, making for an all around experience that is unmatched by even the most popular shops.

Absolutely horrible. I walked in, looked straight at the barber and said hi how’s it going. He looked at me like a circus monkey and didn’t say a word. No hi, how are you, nothing. What kinda of place doesn’t acknowledge their customers even after they say hi. Rude, inconsiderate and ignorant. Go to centenos barber, they are respectful.

Great place to get a quality haircut. You may have to wait a bit but well worth it. They’re even open on Mondays no doubt a plus. Professional and friendly barbers always on point.

I went to Ivan’s today. They are open when they say they are. The shop was clean. The price was great. $ 13.00 was great. He did what I asked for, I need to be clearer on what I want. The guy takes the time to make sure it is neat and clean. I will be returning. I wish the hours were a little later.

My husband has been seeing all of the barbers at this establishment. Even though we did not live in the area. We lived in San Francisco. Stopped in one day while we were in town. They are all very talented. I came in this past Monday. We now live in the area. Note: They are closed during lunch hour. I believe 12 to 1:30. Well deserved. They work none stop and it is a walk-​in first come first serve. They were also able to service my 10 year old and my little 2 year. It was the little ones first hair cut. And he was not having it. The barber was very professional and understanding. He let me sit on the chair while I held the little one. He took his time aside the long line waiting for him. They also offer lollipops for the tears shed. (Lol) we will continue to come here many more moons to come.

I love this place… The barbers are great… I usually get a hair cut and a straight razor shave and the guys do a great job… My only complaint is the guy that does the straight razor shaves talks incredibly Quiet… Haha outside of of that the place is legit… And they sell red bulls for 2 bucks… Great environment, good people and amazing prices… Probably the cleanest and most modern barber shop in Visalia… Although I have not been to gold star which I heard was also very nice… But this place made me a repeat customer so I have no reason to see any other shop! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great haircut… Great value. I don’t know why anyone would ever go to a Great Clips or a Supercuts with a great value in town like Ivan’s barbershop. Service was great haircut was fast. I got just what I was hoping for. Unfortunately, I Live out of town and won’t be able to take advantage of this great place as often as I’d like, but every time I’m in Visalia and need a haircut I’m definitely stopping here.

Great barbers, decent haircuts. First chair (Ivan) was quick and gentle. Great value for the price. The shop is really up to date, modernized, and clean. I’m used to barbers from Fresno and I gave quite a few barbers from the same area a try and none can really compare to Ivan’s, most were overpriced and just plain awful, Ivan’s is definitely a place everyone should give a try.

After a short wait, their newest barber John did a fantastic job on my cut. I loved the old-​fashioned straight razor action! I’ll definitely be back. Very affordable and close to downtown.

I always went to the girl that used to be in there and I went in last week and she wasn’t there and I found out this week that she doesn’t work here anymore and moved to a shop in Tulare called Straight Faded off of Laspina. I only ever went to Ivan’s for her. The other guys are too slow and I just wanna get in and out and shes quick and still cuts better than them even though they take twice as long.

Transcending the farms
Ivan’s is a really chill place with a very skilled staff. The main barber (Ivan himself?) is a cool guy that understands modern hairstyles and also has the ability to improvise when you show him random pictures of styles you want emulated. I’m from the LA area and was initially worried about the kind of cut I’d receive in the country, but Ivan could easily pass as a barber in the city. Haircuts are pretty inexpensive, and the wait has never been too long for me.

Wasn’t sure how Ivan’s was. I usually drove to Tulare. But I decided to give him a shot. There is only 2 chairs which makes the wait longer. But all in all, he did a great job. Listened to how I wanted it cut and then cut it perfectly. Also had him cut my sons hair and his also came out good.
I highly recommend Ivan’s.

Great barber. When I left the shop I wasn’t sure if I loved the haircut because he didn’t really style it much. But it has been a full week and I haven’t worn a hat once. Feels like this haircut will also «grow out well» without having to get it cut again in a week or two. So often a haircut feels okay, but two weeks later it needs cut again.
I’d highly suggest giving Ivan a try. Normally I go to Boling’s but he was closed for the week. I love Boling’s, but he can get busy and take a while to wait. Ivan might just be my new barber! Give him a shot, only $ 10 and does a great cut.

Came in because I drove by and noticed new shop had nobody waiting for a trim. Met the owner Ivan who is a super cool cat who did my buzz and razored my neckline in about 10 minutes. $ 10. I’ve been going to a salon for the last 10 years and forgot how inexpensive a regular mens haircut could be. Super clean inside, no lame music playing, just a flat screen on the wall. Decent parking, great hours, and a friendly owner. I will definitely be coming back and utilizing their early morning hours, as I work nights and this fits perfect into my schedule.
