I absolutely LOVE this salon. Everyone is very professional and genuine. Shelly has been my stylist for over seven years and is AWESOME. She is a friend as well as a great artist. I love how she colors, cuts, and styles my hair. Her prices are reasonable and she takes her time on me. I’m valued there. Highly recommend this salon.
This salon is on Main Street in Visalia… A great location with plenty of parking.

First time at this salon. Had an appointment with Tina. She’s wonderful. She did exactly what I asked for which was cut, color and highlights. My hair came out beautiful. She did a great job. So my boyfriend booked me appointments at Renaissance Day Spa for my Valentines present. I had a wonderful experience! Started off with a pedicure from Desiree who was so incredibly friendly and fun and my pedicure turned out great. Next I had a full hour massage with Michelle who has magic hands. She was amazing! I would love to make the trip back there to experience this again My boyfriend scored big time!

Went twice to a stylist named Toni.
The first time I went in she did a really nice job on my cut and color. My only complaint was she left dye on my face and I ended up with a lovely dye stain. In this day it’s just really not acceptable.
I went back about 6 – 8 weeks later for a touch up on my color and cut. She had obviously taken poor notes because she touched up my chocolate brown hair without the ash tones and my hair ended up red. I hate red. On my first appointment I told her how important it was that my hair not have red. Oh and the face stain was worse this time. And she was way wrapped up in planning a sushi dinner with other stylists to really say two words to me the entire time.
I’m a mom of a three year old and work a very demanding job. A trip to the salon is a very needed «me time» moment. I didn’t feel pampered during my last visit. And the finished product was all wrong. I definitely have not returned. I would not recommend this salon to friends.

I called to make an appointment to have my eyebrows waxed. The girl takes my name and number calls me back and tells me Tony will do my eyebrows at 430pm. I leave work to drive down to the salon and the receptionist tells that I didnt have an appointment. Really?
Just lost a customer. .

I go to Lacey Mendes, she is an amazing hair stylist. She does an awesome on coloring and styling hair for special events.

I would like to start off by saying I am a very picky person when it comes to my hair. It has been my pleasure to have Brian Cody cut, color and style my hair for the past 10 years, probably even closer to 12 years. Every time I have entered Renaissance, I have been graciously greeted by employees with a smile on their face. Brian has a great personality, warm heart and loves what he does and it shows. I also have to recommend another hair dresser, LACEY! She has done my hair when Brian is out of town and does a great job. She is very friendly and professional. So I highly recommend this salon to anyone that is looking for awesome work and beautiful atmosphere… Renaissance Salon is the BEST.

Had a terrible experience. I had booked a spa day for my mom and sister as a birthday present a month in advance and they ruined it. Screwed up the reservations and scheduled other people in their place. The manager would not even speak to me when I requested. Even after the fact they wanted to charge us full price. First and last time I will ever be going to them. I do not recommend going to this place. It’s expensive and they can’t even get a reservation correct. Very unprofessional.

I had an amazing experience! I started off by walking in the back door. And was completely lost! There was a gal sitting in that area and was nice enough to point me in the right direction. Once i got to the front desk the girl was nice enough to walk me up stairs since i had never been there before and she could tell i was a little lost! I had my massage with Vicioria and she was great! Next was my Mani/​pedi with Ally. She was great as well. I had the mini retreat and i loved it! I highly recommend this place! Everyone is so nice and makes your feel welcome!

I go to Teri and she is WONDERFUL! Very helpful in transforming my hair into not only beautiful but healthy too! She truly is talented! Used both her and her daughter for my sisters wedding for the wedding party hair… Teri and Devon are an amazing mother daughter team!
If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I have gone to this salon since it opened. I find it to has everything a salon needs. The hairdressers are why we go and my hairdresser, Brenda V. is excellent in her skills and professionalism. She has made my salon experience something I look forward to. She styles my hair exactly as I ask, and my hair color is the envy of all my friends. Renaissance is a great salon in Visalia. Give it a try and Brenda too!

Every time I come here to get my hair dyed, I always get stunning results. My hair has been blue and purple and the last time I went it was just straight purple and it turned out great. Elysse, Devon, and Kara all do wonderful jobs so if you do get any of them as a stylist, you won’t be disappointed! :)

I came here for the mommy to be spa package, and it was a pretty good experience. The massage was very nice. I have really stubborn knots around my shoulders, and it’s always been hard for a masseuse to get rid of them. Meghan did a pretty good job trying to get me to relax, and she used pretty firm pressure, which I prefer. I was a little sore the next day, but it was worth it. I’m not a huge manicure person, so that was so-​so. I liked Rita a lot, but it was very pricey for a mani/​pedi, so I probably won’t be going back for those. I will probably get another massage though.

Loved my visit here! I went to Geneva and she was really great did a wonderful color and cut for me. A really nice atmosphere everyone was really friendly. This will definitely be my new hair salon I love it. Plus the inside is very pretty.

I received a mini spa treatment from my family, I finally found some «me time» and scheduled my day, I arrived and waited for the nail person to be ready for me, I had a pedi and requested a french tip finish vs a color application for my toes, when she reached for the white pen to use on my
toes, I was almost speechless… then a no frill clear manicure completed the lack luster portion of my spa day, I did have an amazing massage that left me no complaints until someone in the hall started speaking loudly to their client and kind of spoiled my sweet bubble, I was somewhat disappointed that my horrible pedi was even further ruined by the fact that my toes touched the cloth on the massage table and was completely ruined… I now have to go get my regular gal to do my french pedi redone at my $ 20 walk in spot. And just a side note for the salon, when you are doing a mini spa treatment, maybe offer some water before or after a massage, maybe even throw a cucumber in the mix to pretend to be a spa… and then don’t have me pay after I’m in the relaxed ZONE post massage, maybe take care of all that prior to the tx, and I won’t forget to tip my gals, I promise. I don’t consider it rude to ask for my gift card as I come into your facility, better then than after, when I would normally sit for a minute in a cozy space and drink some water and get my body awake and moving again. hmmmm, won’t be doing another spa treatment here…

I regularly see Shawna for my waxing needs, she is located upstairs in the quiet away from the rest of the salon. And she is great! Very sweet and easy to chat with. I’ve also received facials and massages from her, which I would definitely recommend to friends.
She uses a very convenient online site to make appointments, all you have to do is look at the calendar and see the times she has free and book it! Wish more people would offer this.
Haven’t used any other services at this salon (hair, etc.), but FIVE stars for Shawna!

Disappointed.
When I came in for my appointment they were unsure of who I was placed with and had me wait ten minutes. When I met with my hair dresser she looked like she needed to be in a rush with me even though I never indicated that I was in a time crunch. She first washed my hair and was too hard on massaging my head. I had a pain in my head for the rest of the afternoon. Already, I’m sounding harsh (which I’m usually not in reviews), but she really shouldn’t be washing people’s hair with that much pressure on the skull. I asked for a nice haircut with layers in my hair. Instead she trimmed it and started curling my hair 15 minutes after the cut. I was confused and asked if she had already cut my hair. From the time I walked in she had finished my cut in 35 minutes. My cut cost over $ 50 (she told me they take cash only) and I left with a headache and a cut that looked similar to when I walked in.
Sorry to say this was a poor experience.
