I have been a patient of Mylene Rucker for over 8 years. She listens and gets the tests needed. My husband and senior mother go to her now and they are thankful to finally have a doctor who cares. Her staff are also caring and helpful. They have no problems following through and calling to set up appointments for tests. As far as insurance it is always beneficial to make sure the doctor in «in-network» versus just accepting the insurance. Rucker does take a wide assortment of insurance. I have not had any issues with billing as I have with other offices.

Not easy to deal with. Getting refills on medication is a pain and they don’t communicate with the pharmacy well. You know when a pharmacy complains about an office there is definitely something wrong. They are Not good at returning phone calls. They seem to be after the $$$ rather than good customer satisfaction, Unnecessarily requiring appointments monthly or every 3 months«just to check in». For a healthy person this is not needed and frankly a pain. If you are after an office where you go in 1 or 2 times a year than this is NOT the place for you. They also try and push their wellness program. A dietary plan with vitamin shots where you are required to go in weekly to meet with a counselor and receive your shot… no thanks! That’s what weight watchers is for. Dr. Rucker seems nice but the over all experience I have had with her office and some of the staff has been less than desirable. I will be looking for a new doctor for my future health needs.
