Great deals on used books and CD’s! For a hardcover _Gone Girl_, I paid $ 1. For my husband, I got a Kings College CD and for myself, and Mozart Jupiter Symphony at about $ 2.70 each. In general, prices were lower than those at Goodwill, so that was a nice surprise! For instance, mugs are 2 for $ 1. Long-sleeved shirts were ~$ 4, puffy jackets ~$ 9, scarves ~$ 4, jeans ~$ 5. The clothes were not organized by size, but the racks were easy to go through. There are only 2 dressing rooms and one«mirror»(looked more like a security mirrored window) on one side of the store, so I felt less inclined to try clothes on and buy them. But I was still very happy with my book and music purchases. Service was very professional and pleasant.

This is a great store! In fact, it’s hard to spend any money because the prices are so good. LOL

great, Great, GREAT finds and deals are to be found at this Salvation Army. I’ve NEVER left empty handed. The best times to come(of course) are on 50% off days(if you can stand the crowds). I’ve come to the store as soon as it opens and I’ve come right before closing. I’ve had the best luck at closing time because the crowds are minimal, things are being put back on the shelves, and I can shop in peace. The employees greet everyone heartily and with smile and everyone is working. You don’t see people standing around and shooting the breeze. The employees at Salvation Army are on a mission, and I like that! Happy thrifting!

The Salvation Army is king of thrift stores, hands down. We’re used to all of the Fresno locations, but this one felt just like home. We recognized some familiar staff and had some great interactions with much of the staff. We love their discount days and the massive selection. Always great finds, thank you!

Came in looking for used vinyls before heading out for camping at Mineral King. Came away pleased; nabbed Yes Fragile, Xanadu ost, and Weather Report Heavy Weather all in sweet shape. Also grabbed a couple cheapo cassettes. Nice store and(sorry Paige) I found the staff to be charming and helpful.

I would probably give this location more stars if I had to base it on availability of great items and awesome prices, but I’ve grown extremely frustrated with the staff. Even though they have two fitting rooms, they refuse to let customers try on clothing because they say people have gone to the bathroom in them. The first time they told me this, I believed them because from working retail, I know that it DOES happen on a super rare occasion. But I started noticing EVERY time I came in they would tell people they couldn’t open the fitting rooms because someone soiled BOTH of them. I’ve shopped here several times and it is incredibly frustrating to be told you aren’t able to try clothing on but if you buy it, you can’t return it either if it doesn’t fit. I usually end up not purchasing a few items because as someone who only works a couple hours a week, every single dollar counts, I can’t take that risk. If they know what’s good for business, they would know that they are losing thousands of dollars a month because of those customers who aren’t allowed to try on clothing. It adds up. Which I checked, and it’s supposed to help fund the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Centers. To be honest, think they are making up excuses(lying to their customers) so they don’t have to deal with fitting rooms or people stealing from them. And if that’s the case, I find it incredibly ironic they’re lying because it’s a faith-based organization focused on helping people become better people. I shouldn’t be so hard on an organization like this, but at the end of the day, it’s still a business and I’m still a customer that is bummed because I can’t buy what I want to buy. And that’s one less person they’re helping.
