Wiseman Mark MD Visalia OB-Gyn Associates

I recently had a complete hysterectomy (9 days ago). I had seen Dr. Morin for years and was quite unsettled when he retired. He recommend Dr. Wiseman and I am thrilled! I have some issues and he has been amazing. He performed my hysterectomy and was informative, caring and reassuring. I think I may tend to be a trying patient as I want to know EVERYTHING and am a Type A personality to the extreme. Dr. Wiseman wasn’t phased by this and when I saw him in the office or hospital, felt like I was his only concern. Yes, the office is busy and appointments are sometimes a challenge to get, but I think the expertise and care is well worth the hassle. I would highly recommend Dr. Wiseman… or a clone of Dr. Morin.

I completely agree with Lauren D. I had a very similar experience. I felt the clinic itself is over whelmed and treated more like a walk in clinic than a caring OB-​Gyn clinic. I was able to make an appointment and told to show up 30 minutes early for paperwork. It was an hour to the dot before they saw me. I ended up receiving a $ 40 parking ticket (3 minutes over the 2 hour time limit) I thought Dr. Wiseman was nice but I wouldn’t recommend going here. Find somewhere that is more about the quality of care and not the quantity.

My rating is due to my experience setting up an appointment as a new patient. As the doctors in this facility have great reviews, I wanted to set up one of the OBGYNs as my primary. This process started 2.5 weeks ago.
As a new patient you have to connect to a new patient coordinator. As I’ve learned, this person works only 4 hours a day, leading to an increasingly frustrating game of phone tag. Since every time I called I reached her voicemail, I was beginning to wonder if a human person actually existed. I hope that the office can read my note and make changes, as it is extremely difficult to have to leave a message, not knowing when to expect a call back, and seeing that you missed yet another call because you’re at work. This back and forth took literally two weeks to actually speak to someone who could input my information. I was so relieved when I got through, thinking I would FINALLY get to make an appointment… but, no. She stated I could expect to hear back in 1 – 2 days from an appoointment coordinator. What??? Needless to say, 3 days later I took the initiative and called back as I never heard from anyone.
I now have my appointment with the doctor a year from now.

I have a sad story but instead of going over the entire experience I am going to touch the important parts. My last pregnancy was unsuccessful, our child passed away and it was a rough ride. The doctor I had was in San Francisco and now I realized wasn’t has attentive or prepared to help us as she should have. There is my background…
Dr. Wiseman however has been the GREATEST. He has done everything to make this current pregnancy go smoothly and happily. He doesn’t discount my concerns, he answers every question I have and takes the time to really focus on my situation. I am currently over twenty weeks pregnant and have had no serious problems. He even preformed a surgical procedure on me which has seemingly solved the issue that caused my previous tragedy.
My baby is healthy and growing just as she should and I thank Dr. Wiseman for EVERYTHING he has done for my beautiful blessing. I’d suggest him to anyone who has had complications or who wants a GREAT OBGYN
Of course I don’t want to leave out his WONDERFUL nurse. Sheri is THE BEST! Without her I don’t know what I’d do. She always calls back when you call with a concern and she does so in a timely manner. The entire Staff is great.
