Health, Love, and Lovely Health are very important to me! So changing my primary care physician wasn’t an easy thing. When my lifelong family practice doctor’s offices in SF decided to revise their accepted medical insurance to a new plan, I suddenly found myself«out of network», SIGH. Not having a regular doctor to go to for the first time in my life felt like I was a rat kicked on its ass on the street dodging oncoming cars! So I logged online to my insurance carrier’s website and the search began… Let’s see… Click, Click, close to my home but also has multiple offices? Check! Click, Click… board certified, accomplished, and highly rated in medical reviews? Check! Click, Click… now here’s the important part-young enough to relate to my athletic profession and all of the sports I do? CHECK! Voila! Up pops across Doc Bannach’s name! Scheduling an appointment was a breeze and his office gladly mailed me all of the necessary paperwork to fill out prior to my first visit so I wouldn’t have to hang around as long. His staff was super friendly and efficient and I was stoked to see that the patient rooms had Surfing mags to read whilst you wait, in addition to the usual Redbook and, YAWN, Family Circle. Most of all, the Doc himself is the real deal! Finally a doctor who can actually relate to my profession and athletics! He comes across as dynamic, highly intelligent, insightful, and empathetic. Dr. Bannach was very thorough and meticulous regarding my health history without being arrogant or overly intrusive. I brought a list of questions to ask him(ALWAYS a good thing to do when seeing your doctor for ANY reason) and he patiently took the time to address them. He even added additional insights before I could ask them. How cool is that?! A person’s health and well-being should be given the utmost consideration and I thankfully feel comfortable trusting mine to Dr. Bannach!
