Never gets old, I can’t say it enough! Macaroni salad is amazing, the mixed BBQ plate had 3 types of meat, also have really good katsu chicken. They allow call in orders if your in a hurry and do catering! Must try!

Avoid this place altogether. Food is not tasty, their soda station looks as if it hasn’t been cleaned in years, the restaurant looks tired and unappealing. If you want true quality Hawaiian food do yourself a favor and go to L &L Barbecue in Oceanside, Ca! You will regret not going there sooner, best Hawaiian food in North County by far!!!

I’m giving it 4 stars only because Im not a huge fan of Hawaiian BBQ. However when I do get a craving for some I always come here. Customer service is excellent. The cashier takes the time to help you choose your right meal, and was always very friendly. The food is very good and FRESH. Takes them a while to give you your food but that’s only because they just started cooking the food, it didn’t look like they had any food like pre cooked. The white rice is very tasty and the beef and chicken are grilled just right! I’ve tried other hawaiian food places like L&Ls and will not go back. Because there food tastes better hear (freshness) and the customer service is excellent.

Flavors are good and prices are reasonable! The only thing is the food takes a while to be ready so I think calling in might be a good move. I like the restaurant enough that I would come back but the overall quality was not as good as some I’ve experienced.
I had the shrimp and ribs combo. The ribs were tender and well-​marinated. The shrimp, fortunately, turned out well with the right amount of batter and crisp. I’ve had some disgusting deep-​fried food before but I’m glad it’s not here! I love their macaroni salad, not too sweet and not too heavy. The rice was cooked well too with the right texture.
The portion size was decent and I had a food coma after i finished that plate…
Make sure you call in for your order so you don’t have to wait for 15 minutes for «fast food». I’ll be back for more ribs soon!

Staff was friendly but the food was not good. Food did not have a good authentic Hawaiian flavor to it. Overpowered with soy sauce. Kalua Pig and cabbage was horrible! Also the menu is really outdated and needs some love.

Warning to ANYONE ordering Catering here…
There online menu is NOT the same as there menu in stores…
For our office, I order for 24 people… The serving size (which was posted on there website) Said 24 serving for chicken Katsu… It hardly fed 11 people!!! He claimed it was 24 pieces and it clearly says 24 servings with other options that clearly state pieces but Katsu chicken was not one of them. We got shorted on our order after telling the owner that there was 24 people to feed… After calling to complain he told me «Its because you said that you had other food to serve» HA! said no such thing… Beware to anyone who is ordering from this company… They will not portion you correctly and rip you off…

I was out looking at puppies and I was suggested to come here to think over the puppies with some good food. Pretty good over all but there’s only two people working during their rush hour. Other than that, the time it took from ordering to eating roughly 10 min. Still great food though. I’ll be back that’s for sure.

I recently selected Ohana for a corporate catering event. What a great experience from beginning to end! 1) They were very helpful when I placed the order. 2) The delivery was packaged efficiently and arrived on time 3) Best of all, the food was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying! I am a first time customer who will definitely be returning.

Ohana catered my dad’s 60th birthday. What a treat! I had never eaten there before, but went at the recommendation of the bf.
From the very beginning, the owner, Jason, was nothing but helpful. Offering his recommendations and what worked best for the amount of people we were feeding. For approximately 60 people, we order 1 ½ trays of chicken and 1 ½ of beef, along with a full tray of mac salad and half a tray of rice. We had people going for 3rds and 4ths. The guests couldn’t get enough. And couldn’t stop inquiring a out who catered.
I was beyond impressed with the quality of the food. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. I had never eaten at Ohana previously, but they have gained a regular put of me!

I’ve only had one dish here so far, the Kailua pork with cabbage. It was delicious. A huge plate of food in very balanced proportions. Two scoops of rice, one scoop macaroni salad, and a half tray of pork and cabbage. I feel as if perhaps other people would find there was too much cabbage in the dish but I felt like most places don’t put enough. Also the cabbage was al dente so it tasted so good mixed with the pork. I’m eating the second half right now for dinner as I write this review. At 8 bucks for a dish that fed me twice I feel like this was a great value and I also feel great after eating it. Not too heavy but still a meal that sticks to the ribs. I know I will be eating here weekly. I’ll review again if I order anything different (probably not, I like familiarity).

The place felt like Daphne’s Greek Café but with a different theme. Checked out their menu online before going and was excited to try the food. Unfortunately they no longer had a lot of stuff that was listed. The menu there had a number of things blacked out on it. Ended up just getting basic fish and chips. It was good with panko crumbs which I’ve never had before, but wasn’t anything special. In the meantime, they really need to update their menu.

They work so hard and somehow always have a big smile on their face. I highly recommend!!!

I live by here, yet never quite made it in. This is now a regret that hangs heavy on my head.
I ordered the pork with cabbage and my boyfriend got the chicken katsu. My pork was very good and very filling. The boyfriend’s katsu was amazing and this will be his new place for his katsu fix.
Only the only negative was because of the lack of air conditioning and it was a very toasty day on our visit.

The food is sooooo good. Anything you order is pretty delicious, but no matter how good the food is, it does not make up for the wait time. I think there’s only two employees and sometimes you have to wait 40 minutes to get your food. Also sometimes they close the restaurant without notice. I’ve been here at least 3 times when the doors have been closed during business hours with no sign or explanation of why it was closed. I’d rather just head over to the Oceanside location for the better service.

Good stuff I’ve only been to the other Ohana in Oceanside and it was awight. This one was good they seem to have different owners everyone here is pretty friendly. Had the numba 4 BBQ plate lunch and asked for brown rice but the dude say no brown rice bro ok den bra almost made me want to hawca lugi j/​k
I was so hungry I munched down quick with no time to breath chase it down with some free wata and off I go but now feelin heavy and slow from all da food. This place is clean and we’ll decorated I’ll definitely be back when in the area. No A/​C though just a couple ceiling fans slowly spinning and da doors propped open for a breeze but no breeze blowing trew broda that’s ok drink more free wata an go take a nap somewhere but no coconut trees around wish I was back on da island.

Prices are very decent for the 2 item combos. I ordered two 2 item combos and a fish taco. Total I paid about $ 23 with tax. My mom, myself and my 3-​year-​old and 2-​year-​old ate very well. It’s walking distance from my apartment in Vista.
The dining area is large and open. Our food did not take more than 10 minutes to be ready and tasted heavenly!
