Rocco’s Pizza And Deli

Walked in for the first time and the cashier was very friendly and helpful. She explained what they had and I decided to play it safe with a large pepperoni and cheese pizza. It was made really fast and the price was pretty good. They also gace me a free six pack of the soda of my choice! It was part of a promo they have. Buy a large or a giant size pizza and get a free 6pack of soda. Very good deal if you ask me. So i got the pizza went home and did work. It was very very delicious! The sauce tasted fresh! And it was very Cheesy! Not too much bread wich is how I like it. Ill definitely be returning soon whenever I get another pizza craving.
Ps. They also serve Calzones and salads n all that good stuff. Still gotta try that.

I had these guys twice and both times they have been ok. Both visits I had gone with a Rocco’s Chicken sandwich which was pretty good. The chicken was a little on the dry side, but it was dressed with a chipotle mayo types, with the melted cheese. That right there made this sandwich work.
What I also saw that made me laugh a little was their version of a «Philly Steak» they had on the menu. Did I attempt one? Negative, my «Philly Card» would have been revoked if I had.
Rule number 1 guys, you do not put «Mayo» on a Philly cheesesteak. That right there is just bastardizing it and it’s also sacrilegious.
2^nd: Rib-​eye is the meat of choice, not Tri Tip, or Sirloin. Rib-​eye gives it that flavor, that pop.
3^rd: Chopping the meat up to little bits also kills it, you just dried it out where it is a greased up roll with cheese.
In all you guys are ok in my book, minus the cheesesteak issue.

Rocco’s is my favorite local Italian food. Me and my roommates live within walking distance and we come here all the time! We always call and come pick up. The food is made quickly but precise. It’s always delicious. I love the hot sandwiches aka Pastrami! Family that’s works is always nice and smiling. Never had a problem with this place! How could you just not support and keep this great local food coming.

This little pizza restaurant is amazing! We had an appetizer and pizza and they were all delicious. What’s more, if you order a large pizza, you get 6 pack sodas!

Ordered delivery service today. Very quick and the guy was very nice. I ordered a veggie pizza and wow it tastes so fresh. Exceeded my expectations. My new go to pizza spot!

Love Roccos Pizza. We have it delivered on brew or bottling days to feed everyone. We get the giant one. Always enough and totally delicious. Super nice people working there.

I had the original calzone with pepperoni and sausage. It was great! I also had a large ham and pineapple pizza that was very tasty. The price was a bit on the higher side, but my taste buds were satisfied.

This place is horrible.
I ordered a medium sandwich and buffalo wings. The cook decided to take a smoke break after my order was taken and stunk up the whole restaurant. The buffalo wings were by far the worst i have ever had. The sauce was like water and the sandwich was disgusting. It took me almost 45 minutes to get my food, and their was knowbody else there. Horrible customer service, and horrrible food.

The philly cheese steak hot sub is delicious! !! I want to order another one. But the price is unreasonable for the salad. I asked for a medium and got a small tiny box for 5 $ and some change. The fries seem to be all soggy, as if they were microwaved.
The only good thing is the sub.

I have been coming ovr to this area on the wknds to do my laundry. I just started coming on Saturdays. Today was/​is no diff. Ive yried their other local in san marcos off grand liked their pizza there so i thought i would give them a try. Got the sausage 10“sandwich &fries to go since i am doing laundry. It was very gd. I will be back.

The man wanted pizza, moi was craving a sammich and fries and neither of us wanted to drive. What to do? Order from Rocco’s! Food was delivered on time and piping hot. The sammich was served on a yummy soft roll and included obviously high-​quality deli meats and cheeses. French fries were crisp and flavorful and the pizza had a delicious crispy crust and ooey gooey cheesiness. Overall the food was delicious, and customer service was spot on. We will definitely order from them again.

My family and I were camping in the area but got in late our first day so didn’t want to cook.
Looked up pizza joints and found this gem. Small but cozy. Family owned and run seems like. They were super friendly and best of all the pizza is incredible.
The dough is so fresh and has THE BEST texture. If you’re remotely close you’ve got to stop in.
We live like 2 hours away but I cannot wait until we can go back. I’m still craving it.

Whenever someone says ‘Rocco’ to me, I always think of a short lived high school boyfriend I had… and after visiting Rocco’s pizza and deli, I’ll still think of the same boyfriend.
The place has 4 tables inside, one outside, so I’m thinking is more popular for takeout or delivery. It was empty when we went in– Saturday at 12:45ish. Our order was simple, pepperoni pie. They don’t have individual slices on the weekend. Drinks were located in a drink display case– mostly soda and a few bottled waters.
The woman who took our order was friendly (not over the top, but adequate) and told us 15 minutes.
Pizza came out about 15 minutes later.
Now, I’m a self-​proclaimed pizza snob. I’m not a snob in my life, but being from NYC… I’m pretty judgmental when it comes to pizza. The dough was too chewy, slices were too small, sauce had no bite to it… it’s not east coast pizza. But, in all fairness, they don’t advertise themselves as an east coast pizzeria.
Sorry, Rocco. We won’t be back. :(

First time ordering pizza and we are happy! Tasty, fresh ingredients delivered on time. Friendly staff. Affordable. Glad they included soda with our large pizza for free. Me and my husband ate the whole pizza — delicious!

I really like this place and honestly a lot of it is probably because it’s such a cute local business. Their food is great, their staff is friendly and helpful (I’m pretty sure it’s a family that runs this one and they’re so damn adorable) and their prices, although a little high, fit well with their portion sizes.
We used to live just down the street from this place and have done delivery and pickup. Both times our food was ready EXACTLY to the minute when they said it would be. They’re relatively fast and the food doesn’t suffer because of it – we ordered calzones and got them quickly, and not only were they HUGE but also delicious!
Their pizza, to be completely honest, was average. We definitely liked it, but it was nothing spectacular (unlike the calzones, which are heavenly). But it is cool that you can choose which toppings you can get – they actually have some fun ones (spinach, artichoke, etc.).
Their storefront is in a little shopping center and isn’t too big – I would recommend ordering your pizza to go and taking it home with you, there’s not too much space to hang out and eat.
This is a cool place and is more worthy of your money than pizza hut or dominos.

I love this pizza place… It’s obviously family owned they are very sweet and attentive. Whenever I am in a bind and i am working late or have unexpected guests coming to my house I can order over the phone or ask for delivery and their service is quick everything is made to order! I would definitely suggest to order the Giant pizza it comes with a 6pack of soda Pepsi product which my fiancé loves! But also my kids really enjoy this place not only because the pizza is ginormous but also because its good food… The pizza is bigger than my 3yr old! This is great shop right around the corner form my house and I love it! ;)
