I was excited to check out this Mexican market as it’s just down the street from Art Beat a place I have been many times with my wife. The market is pretty much as you would expect with some groceries, Mexican treats and some fresh burrito and taco options. I was excited to try the carnitas burrito after she gave me a sample. It was a huge burrito definitely a good price at $ 6. It wasn’t as good as I expected it to be because I found a lot of bone in it. I don’t know if I was just unlucky or if this is to be expected. They have a current 4.5 star review with a small sampling of 9 reviews. Obviously the visitors aren’t much into Unilocal reviews. The market seems like a great option and wonderful feature of a growing area in Vista. I will have to give it another shot to hopefully add a few stars to my review!

Small store but man are they luckily located here on main street vista. Straight quality tortillas. On the weekends they have cactus corn tortillas. Its pretty much like most shops you will find. They have a wierd thing with the cash or card system you have to spend over 5dollars. Not much but when you only come here for flour and corn tortillas it could be a issue. «Roadway to Unilocal elite»

Great little Mexican grocery store. We went there around 6pm after a play at the Avo Playhouse and unfortunately there weren’t any fresh tortillas available. But we got some good chips and salsa! Need to go back earlier next time!

The best homemade tortillas I have ever had. They make daily. Price is so reasonable. I bought the flour tortillas(20 in a package) & corn tortillas(50 in a package) — both was about $ 4.50 … The flour ones are not fully cook so when u put it on a comal it rises a little & taste so freshly made. The real deal! The corn has such great flavor. You will never buy tortillas at the grocery store again once you have tried Los Reyes.

I work close by, so I stop in often for the odd provision. I’m always surprised to see that people come from far away to buy the tortillas here. Some buy enough to feed an army. I buy fewer, but stopped buying tortillas anywhere else. These are 20% better than any I’ve ever had. I hope they can stay in business with all the new gringo food and drinking places popping up on this street.

I give this place on quality and tastiness of the food. If you get the tortillas right off the production line they are hot and tasteeeeeee. You can’t just eat one. The food on the weekend is greater. But the also have food during the week during lunch hour. The tamales are great always well cooked not too much masa and a fair amount of meat they cost 1.25 a steal!

Want the best tortillas in North County? Just like the ones that you get from a real Mexican grandma doing them by hand? Try out their corn tortillas. Hell, try their flour ones too, they are almost as good as the corn ones. And the chips? Forget about it, they could be the local standard for which all tortillas chips should be made. Tasty, not greasy and very crispy. They have other things here, just like a standard Mexican Mercado(market). Fresh meats, salsa and other Mexican related items can be found in their small little store front. But it’s really all about the tortillas here. And in case you want proof… Exhibit A: Mom makes in a habit to tell me to bring some of the tortilla chips from«Los Reyes» when I visit her in Perris. Not any ol’ chips, but from the place off Main St in Vista. Exhibit B: Friend says bring flour tortillas to his house since his fiancé is making us breakfast. I get there and he keeps commenting on how good they taste. «They taste like my grandma’s». Be careful if you go late in the day, as they have ran out of tortillas. I’m like really? You guys ran out? Yes, they are that good, and they are that popular with the locals.
