My husband & I get take-out from here often. We really like the wonton soup, Chinese bread, & General Tso’s chicken. There aren’t many places to eat in Vivian, but this is one of the better options. I don’t know what place that other reviewer Joyce meant to review, but it definitely wasn’t this one — they’ve never had sushi.

Not bad at all. The only Chinese food place in Vivian, Good thing it’s also yummy. From the outside this place loooks like a dump, but the food is really tasty. I dined here right before the North Caddo Magnet High School graduation(Go Rebels!) for the very first time, and it was delicious! I ordered the Kung Pao chicken as a combo with an egg roll for $ 7.20 plus tax, not bad at all. The place on the outside looks nasty, it doesn’t even look like a Chinese restaurant at all from the outside, on the inside the décor is better. The only real other strike that I can put against it, is the ventilation is not that great in this place and when they cook your food, you can really smell it, and you know it’s getting in your clothes, and you’re going to leave there smelling like China Wok. But I am mad at myself for blowing by this place so often and not eating here just based on outside appearances, when inside they have great, cheap, Chinese food that will fill you up! Shame on me! And they take credit/debit cards!

Urbanspoon & my mom said this place is the best, but I feel it’s average at best. We went for lunch after I confirmed it was 6.99/person. Well, we arrived at 3:30p and I’m aware restaurants are slow between 2−4p so I was patient in expecting the food to be turned over and fresher food provided. 1) the sushi was falling apart and I’ve had grocery store sushi that held together better. BUT the ginger was better than Tokyo Japanese on Quimper. 2) although the place was empty, just my party of 4, our server was slow on refills and didn’t give any after the first. 3) the options are decent but my brother made sure to tell me China Flag on Airline has many more options. Urbanspoon reviewer said, there were not a bunch of options but all are good. There are at least 3 – 4 bars so I felt everything was okay. 4) For the 6.99 lunch price this would have been okay but we were surprised with a $ 10/each dinner price. I’ve been spoiled by places in Madison, WI and New Orleans, LA that offer cheap and fresh buffets. I would give it a try again because the decorum was nice, the atmosphere pleasant and maybe this was an off moment. I believe in supporting local businesses.
