Hoffman’s Garden Center

They have the usual flowers. But the real find, are all the unusual flowers that they have. They have some unusual perennials as well as some unusual annuals. They also have quite a few herbs and many different kinds of vines. They even have morning glory! Later in the season, they will also have decorative kale. It’s worth stopping. There are several surprises to be found.

If I went to only ONE garden center for annuals and perennials, Hoffman’s would be the place. High quality and fair prices, not the cheapest but you get a lot of help there if you ask for it and they take care of their stock. Nice people.
I still like hitting a lot of other stores and picking up six packs of «rescue plants» for nothing that have been all but discarded at other big box stores that don’t know how to even water. And just wandering in general for something that I didn’t know I needed, which you can also do at Hoffman’s.
But if I am looking for one of something, or something in particular I stop here.
Rand road is always a minus at peak times.
No scheduled announced sales near as I can figure, just read the sign by the road I guess. There are the expected usual fall clearances. I’m a fan.

Great selection and very friendly staff. Would be a five star but prices are a little high until the end of the season.
