Everytime i go for one thing i end up coming out with bags of stuff. They have a huge turnover i swear. If i see something and want to wait till payday it is gone! If you see it, want it, then you better buy it.

Lots of selections, clean and organized. Wished I lived closer to this location. I was overwhelmed at what a great selection they had at this location. Wish all the Philadelphia stores were modeled after this one.

I go here for shoes, handbags and household items. The shoe department is impressive with a nice selection of athletic shoes, casual sneakers and dress shoes. The handbag section is awesome — Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Kenneth Cole and, most recently, Michael Kors. Get there quick, though, because they sell out of those high ticket items quickly. Household/decorative items are plentiful and the furniture section is usually decent. The clothing selection is lacking and usually in complete disarray.

Some Marshall’s seem to have a larger inventory/better selection of clothes than other store locations. Sometimes it varies year-to-year. I haven’t been able to narrow down a pattern(neighborhood, individual buyer/purchasing agent?) This particular Marshall’s is okay as far as Men’s selections. I shop at Marshall’s for boxer briefs, Adidas/Nike gear, MLB/NFL gear, sweaters, etc. As always, you have to be patient and pick through the items w/a fine fine tooth comb. Sometimes I will find a nice Brooks Brothers tie or something from Hickey Freeman, etc. … This year they had a lot of wool socks inventory. Not to sound like Mommie Dearest but my biggest complaint(and this is with most Marshall’s) is the type of hangers they utilize. Sweaters should not be displayed on hangers, they cause ‘shoulder bumps’ and often stretch the sweater. I know that due to space limitations, it is inevitable. However, Marshall’s uses cheap plastic hangers that often break on you while browsing the selections(causing the sweater to fall to the floor). They use hangers that can’t support the weight of a heavy sweater… Or they use the hanger type with those ‘shoulder hooks’ that snag/rip apart the sweater. I found 4 damaged sweaters in one sitting recently(see ) All in all: not the best, not the worst
