I’ve been here for brunch twice and I’m amazed at how good the food was considering their prices. Between the food I ordered and the food I sampled off of my friends’ plates I’ve tasted a lot of the items on their brunch menu and they were all delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the chef paid us and the tables around us a visit to make sure everything was ok. I definitely plan on going back again, hopefully for dinner next time.

My husband and I just returned from a very disappointing, almost inedible meal at Mirko’s Taste of Europe. Usually trip advisor recommendations are spot on. And I have never written a review before. But in this case, this place should not even be rated. I read reviews comparing it to top restaurants in NYC that one must wait a year to get a reservation. Really??? Like MEGU, Danielle’s, Babbos’s, Le Benardin… as my husband and I are from New York, and have eaten at the above mentioned NYC restaurants as well as eateries around the world including Paris, Athens, Mykonos and Santorini, I can attest that Mirko’s taste of Europe is bland, rubbery and needs to develop and refine his palette. My main meal was the Portuguese Style Cannelloni. While the pasta was fresh it was wrapped around a rubbery mixture of some sort of pre frozen seafood??.One could not discern the difference between crab, scallops or lobster. Who would wrap fresh pasta over a frozen monstrosity??? My husband had Bouillabaisse from Marseille– under-seasoned broth with frozen seafood that tasted bland and like a tire. Perhaps this is my own downfall as Chef Anthony Boudain notes in his book Kitchen Confidential that one should never eat at an establishment that offers«everything» on the menu. Its impossible to do everything well. And in Mirko’s case, the only thing well, and I mean edible was the hummus. I am saddened now that I can no longer trust the advice from trip advisor as this #1 restaurant in Voorhees is obviously not true due to the talent of the chef, but due to the family/friends base he encouraged to write fictitious reviews about food he daydreams he could create. An overpriced meal for garbage… Now I am eating a Wawa turkey salad– at least its not pretentious and you know what you are getting for the money.

Really enjoyed this restauarant. We were fortunate they had extended their Prix Fix menu for a longer amount of time and therefore able to try a lot of different foods they offer. The outstanding dishes we had were the Asparagus Rissotto. This was probably the best rissotto I have ever had. It was so good. The mussels in a cream sauce were very good and I liked that the little pieces of vegtables in the broth had not been cooked to death and added texture. I also took a chance and had the Vienner Shnitzel. My Mom is German and so it had a lot to live up to. And while the taste was a little different than my mother’s version I absolutely loved it. I even think she would! I did sample me friend’s dishes. I thought the paella a tad dry but tasty and the ratatouille tasted great. This is a restaurant I would give another chance if I was in the neighborhood and regretfully I am not. Our server was very attentive and we lacked for nothing.

Went with friends on a Friday night and the restaurant was a about a 1⁄3 full. We ordered the appetizers and the escargot, asparagus risotto, and anitpasto were all very good and above average. The oly down note was when we requested bread to sop up the escargot sauce, the waitress brought one small slice of crostini(?!), and when we tried to ask for more the wait staff were preoccupied chatting by the open kitchen. What European(especially French or Italian) that wouldn’t have a bread basket? The real disappointment was the paella for 2. The seafood and chicken were overcooked(dry) and not a hint of saffron or paprika was evident. Others in the group were underwhelmed by the goulash and flavorless pasta side dish and the ratatouille that was covered in melted cheese(!) The one bright note was one person liked their Salmon dinner. Overall a disappointment on the food and service side, but a still a great night out with friends. We’ll plan another visit to see if this was an anomaly.

Tried this place for the first time, and thought that it was a really cool concept for a restaurant! The theme of the evening we were there was Germany… from what I think I understood from our waitress, they change the theme to different European countries. Because we were there on a German night, the music was all German, the food specials were all German, etc etc. You can get food from a variety of European countries, though. We were the only people there the entire time we were at the restaurant — we got there about 5pm. Our waitress was friendly, but the poor thing seemed to be dying of appendicitis the entire time she was helping us. She should have gone to the hospital from the obvious amount of pain she was in(and she mentioned it to us, as well…) There were other waitresses who could have helped us and let the poor thing go to the hospital! The food was great — I had the Classic Goulash, and shared the French Crepes for dessert. There are lots of other dishes on the menu that I hope to go back to try too. Not too pricy. Definitely will be back.

This is my new favorite place to eat. I have been here for both lunch and dinner and the food is always cooked fresh to order and is hot and flavorful! The staff is friendly and accommodating and the ambiance superb! If I could afford it, I’d eat here daily?!

What a great idea– my new go-to spot! My meal here was delicious and the staff was so genuinely excited and invested in this restaurant, you just can’t NOT want them to succeed! Plus, the chef’s credentials aren’t too shabby, either…

I’ve dined here quite a few times now and have always been more than satisfied. The atmosphere really provides for a unique Western European experience. I recommend the homemade spaetzle and pasta express lunch!

Unbelievable! I’ve now been to Mirko’s three times and have not had a better meal in the Philadelphia Metro area. The prices are right, the portions are huge, the ambiance is great for two or for twenty. Bring your own bottle and enjoy an incredible meal.

Food is creative and prices are reasonable. Husband wasn’t a fan of the Chicken Marsala but we both liked my Seafood Risotto. Dessert was just ok.

I had a wonderful dining experience here last Friday evening! The food was fresh and delicious, our waitress was attentive and helpful, and the chef and hostess went table to table to check on customer satisfaction. The exceptional food and good value in addition to staff attention to diners makes this a place you come back to!

Tried this place for the first time this week. What’s not to love? Food and décor are awesome. If you love traveling Europe, this is the place! I love the menu offerings. You can choose dishes from different countries such as France, Greece, Germany, etc. The bread given to us tasted like soft pretzels –i’m not sure if that’s normal for the place or in honor of «Germany Week» at the restuarant. Either way it was good. I had a citrusy salad that was fantastic. The dressing was light and tangy, the salad was a nice size for $ 6. I also tried other’s dishes: Salmon & Ratatouille — all fantastic. Another at our table really liked the Gaspazo soup. The real treat came when our waitress(very friendly, prompt and helpful) rolled the dessert cart over. The cart & offerings in itself are an impressive thing. We split a chocolate raspberry pie. It was so rich and amazing. Worth the calories! The place is BYOB. We didn’t bring wine, but I can’t wait to come back with a bottle. The décor is just beautiful down to every detail. They’re also very accomodating to hurry your order if you’re trying to make a move.

My husband and I went here about a month ago for a «date night». I wasn’t sure what to expect and I am kind of picky when it comes to food. Everything on the menu was new to my taste palette. So, I ended up getting the seafood paella and my husband got a lamb roast of some kind? Needless to say the flavors were incredible. My husband loved his food and I loved mine, but I will not be ordering seafood paella again. Not something I am particularlly fond of, but the arrangement of flavors, the colors, and the presentation of the food was fantastic. My husband’s food was remarkable. I almost wish I ordered his. And let’s talk about dessert. I forget what my husband had, but I had the rasberry layered cake. ITWASFABULOUS! So amazing. The staff was attentive, the chef came out and asked how everything was. Great experience. I can’t wait to go back there again.

Been seriously waiting for this place to open. Mirko is a gastronomical gem. I went to Mirko’s for opening night with a buddy of mine. We shared a big sampler appetizer & each got different dishes. I was in a Spanish kind of mood so I had the Gambas… muy delicioso! Service impeccable, ambience perfect. That’s all I’ll say for now except GETTHERE.
