Partners In Primary Care

This is a terrible medical facility. They prescribed me paxil for anxiety related issues. I recently ran out of the drug on July 4^th. I obviously wasn’t able to call them for a refill on this day, but decided that one day wasn’t a big deal. Regardless, their phone messages says that all calls for prescriptions will be filled within 24 hours.
Over 24 hours went by since I called it in and my pharmacy instructed me that they hadn’t received a call yet. I attempted to call Partners in Primary care back, but they were already out of office. Now, it’s Saturday the 7^th and I finally get a message from Partners on my answering machine. It’s the secretary telling me that my doctor would like to talk with me in person before prescribing paxil again. The only problem is that tomorrow is Sunday and they’re not around.
So the moral of the story is this:
My doctor willingly allowed me to go at least over four days without a medication that needs to be kept on a regimen and has been known to lead to severe withdraw symptoms in a very short amount of time after discontinuation.
Guess what, I’m experiencing some of those symptoms right now.
