Really wonderful menu with a lot of vegetarian options. The appetizers are fantastic and often constitute our entire meal. It’s a good way to enjoy lots of the great flavors. Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable.

I picked up food for lunch on a whim as I was in the area and this place was a treat. I ordered a lamb rhoganjosh lunch set which came with rice, a samosa and three small containers of sauces and a small container of pickles. The sauces were a surprise and very yummy, I’ve never had this in other indian restaurants I’ve been to. The lamb was very flavorful and tender and the portion was enough to save to have as part of dinner. Would definitely come again.

My wife and I had an incredible time here. Great atmosphere, great service, beautiful presentation(I ate it before I could take a pic). And the food?! Very flavorful. And they spice to your preference. We will definitely be returning soon, best Indian dinning experience I think I’ve had to date.

Great Indian Restaurant — Beautiful ambiance!!! Excellent selection of dishes with variety of serving options. We tried Chicked tikka masala and malai kofta along with Naan and rice. They use fresh vegetables, tender meats in the dishes paired with a wonderful light rice met all those expectations we were craving. A definitely must visit restaurant!

The food here is excellent– for those of you who like lamb, all their lamb dishes were awesome. The tandoori chicken dishes were also excellent. I was trying to eat less rice and stick to proteins, but when the dal tadka came out, I tasted it and ended up eating rice too. The waiters were nice and always smiling — ready to lend an ear and make recommendations. We also got to see the cook pull out rotis from the tandoor.(I love to see my food being made) All in all it is an excellent place — I rate it a must go to place.

Phenomenal Indian food, even better service. While Gabriel started out as our server, each server cycled through our section to make sure we were well accommodated. We tried the groupon at the recommendation of another Unilocaler and so glad we did because the experience was so good, we’d be back without it. We got the cauliflower and Kebab app which were excellent! Next was butter chicken and lamb chetinad which were both fantastic. Each in their own way and flavor were delicious. Naan was typical, rice too. The deserts were rice pudding and tiramisu something which were great, although the rice pudding was out of this world great! All round well done and will be back.

Went for the Wednesday buffet. Was very disappointed. First issue, the Chicken Briyani? Truly awful. I didn’t even make it through one bite. I spit out the 1 bite I took of it. It smelled spoiled, but I figured maybe that was just a spice combo I wasn’t used to smelling. The one bite I took was VERY mushy, and when it hit my tastebuds it TASTED spoiled, so I spit it back out. I didn’t want to be rude, so I just told the waiter I didnt finish because I didn’t like the spice they used. I tried the plain briyani and that tasted and smelled fine. All the other dishes didn’t look very fresh, several of the options looked dried out and they JUST brought them out because the buffet was JUST starting. How can some of your items be dried out as soon as you bring them out? It doesn’t make any sense! I tried several dishes and very little had any flavor. Their chicken tikka(chicken pieces that aren’t in a masala sauce) was ice cold, their chicken tikka masala the chicken was okay in that(at least) the masala sauce tasted good(the reason for the 2 stars) The rest of the items I tried(a paneer dish) didn’t have much of any flavor. Nothing had any heat, even the slightest bit. And NOTHING was labeled. It took them until close to 6 pm(buffet opens at 5:30) to start getting labels on things. All in all a forgettable experience, but of course I had to pay for it, much more than other Indian buffets i’ve been to, since the bill came to $ 14.94. $ 15 for a very forgettable buffet… I won’t be back.

I was asked by the driver who said he was the owner to review the food. I wouldn’t call myself an expert in Indian cuisine, but I know when something is good or just mediocre. For $ 6.00 I got the fish Kali mirch. It was tiny fish sticks fried in a batter of not so much spice. The lamb roganjosh was lamb I think. The sauce didn’t resemble any Indian flavor I have ever had before. It wasn’t that good. The basmati rice was cooked just right, but had no flavor. For $ 22.00 I could have had something else with more flavor.

We came in with a groupon to try a new Indian spot and we are so happy we did! Clean, open kitchen, friendly and fast service we found our new place! The staff here are so helpful and attentive. I wanted the eggplant appetizer but they ran out. The cauliflower was an amazing choice and my taste buds were dancing. Hubby got the kebab and we watched the chef literally take it off the skewer to plate it. Hot, fresh and juicy with great spices. We tried an order of the cheese naan and OMG it practically melted in our mouths. I could have eaten that all night. For entrees I had the lamb roganjosh and the meat was boneless and tender. The sauce was a little lacking from the roganjosh Ive had at other places. Hubby got the butter chicken and was very happy. Deserts were simple, sweet and rounded out the meal. This is a hidden gem and I cant wait to go back. Oh we met the owner and he was wonderful! Great restaurant and the cook even smiled at us a time or two. It may sound cliché but I would have liked a little middle eastern music instead of Kenny G lol Overall great place

We ended up here on our way to another restaurant yesterday for lunch. The new space is sleek and modern with an open kitchen concept. We got to sample a nice variety of the menu, and everything was good but a bit bland for Indian food. Our favorite was the eggplant chaat appetizer. It was on the large side for an app and definitely shareable. Bite sized coins of super crispy eggplant were drizzled with yogurt and tamarind(?) sauces and topped with red onions, peppers and some other toppings. The tilapia starter was small pieces of fish fried in a black pepper seasoned batter and again was a nice sized appetizer. We used some of the side sauces to jazz it up a little. Our entrees were also tasty and served with a generous portion of rice on the side. They have a large selection of vegetarian dishes. The meat entrees were mostly chicken with 2 lamb and a shrimp dish. The desserts were good but nothing memorable. There were some hiccups in the service though that separately may not have been a big deal, but combined left us somewhat irritated. We were not given a lunch special menu when we sat down. When I asked about the menu, I was told it was the same for lunch and dinner. I only found about lunch specials when I went up to look at the take-out menu after we had ordered. We also asked about ordering hot tea or coffee and were told they used to serve it but no longer did? Considering this is a fairly new spot, we found that strange. Lastly, we were asked for a spice level on our curry and thus requested that it be spicy. It was incredibly mild, although tasty. And I suspect most dishes here lack the heat that you would find at EKTA. Again, these are all minor things, so maybe I’m nitpicking, but they took away from an otherwise nice meal.
