Valvoline Instant Oil Change

They are not cheep. But they do a solid job. They are quick and easy going. They know there stuff. I WOULD SAY THAT THEY TRY TO SELL YOU UP. BUT THEY ARE DOING THERE JOBS. if you would like your car taken care of right I would go back. Super professional.

Just got my oil change today and I don’t understand why all the reviews are negative about this place. If you want a good oil change nowadays in less than 20 minutes, it will definitely cost you more than $ 20. People rate so low on services because of the price but you’re paying for the service and the quality of the oil. I had purchase the cheapest oil which is the $ 30+ package but I have an SUV and my oil is about 6.4 gallons so there’s an extra which is always not good for my wallet but it is what it is. The service was quick and they had change everything quickly and also change my dashboard filter which cost $ 41.
Overall experience was great. They had great customer service and the employees were really friendly which is why I didn’t mind why it is a little pricey. I didn’t have to get out of my car and we also got a military discount because we worked for the military. We had some conversations with the employees and they were really nice. We were also given a rewards card kind of thing where if you got 10 oil change then the next one is free which would come in handy in the future.

Lube Work is SHUT DOWN! Bought out or sold to, how ever you want to say it.
Just came back from Hawaii after three years and found out that lube work is not there anymore…
About the new owner and new Preventive Maintenance (PM) shop:
1– price is too expensive, it cost me 109 for my oil change… Price/​I think I can et the same price but better service at a car dealership
Ps: they didn’t mount back my under splash guard back on after the oils change…
2– Sad part is that they didn’t even do oil filter change! They didn’t know how??? Guys are young and cool, but if they don’t know how to do PM, we got a problem.
3– brand new car, second time getting a oil change, my first time ever to drive off with a one inch screw in my tire! thank got that I had tire care. Sigh~
4– Just found out today that I have a oil leak!!! on a brand new car! Found out that my parking spot had a oil puddle… Check underneath, look what I see! My under splash guard filled with oil…
5– guys are young and guys are cool, chill they looked at what I complained about and got the splash guard back on correctly. But when it comes to work… They have no idea! Mechanics not knowing mechanical preventive maintenance… Not worth going/​not worth trusting/​not worth $ 109 for an oil change
Screw in my tire, they said it wasn’t them… Okay no problem! But how about explaining why I gotta a $ 109 oil change and I got a oil leak and a puddle of oil on my splashguard!!! How about why I got a oil change but my oil filter wasn’t changed out for new one!!! How about mechanics not knowing about new cars!!!

Stay away! incompetent clowns. Went there three times and twice they forgot to do something including reattaching an oxygen hose after checking the air filter. Upon leaving, the car stalled out in the middle of White Horse Road after stuttering for a block or two. Barely made it back to Valvoline. Second time they never put any washer fluid in car. They make a big deal of touching each component of the engine and yelling out that part name to show service on that particular part was completed. All for show as they missed more in three visits than the old Lube Works ever missed. I have 5 cars, including my kids cars, that I took to Lube Works and they were great. Always took pride in their work and I never, ever had a problem. Now you pay about $ 20 more than before and you get ripped on the service to boot! Do yourself a favor and stay away. You will be better off for it!!! There are plenty of places to get an oil change. Find another!!!

WOW — the prices sure increased after changing hands.

This place is a disgrace. I was a happy customer of the previous, family owned business at this location. Their service was impeccable, friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the business was sold to a new operation which is inefficient, unprofessional and clueless. I waited a long time (longer than the entire oil change used to take) before I was waited on and no one was ahead of me. Two other cars were in the other 2 bays the entire time, obviously getting the same bad service. The technicians had no idea of what they were doing, couldn’t find locations, couldn’t replace anything removed without much difficulty, charged at least double and didn’t even vacuum the car. I will not be coming back, but I don’t imagine the place will be in business for very long. Don’t bring your car here.
I would give this place zero stars, or negative stars, if it were an option.

lube works family retired and the family sold the business to valvoline! i suggest you don“t go to the valvoline spot because they are messing people’s cars up left and right. they are letting rookie high school kids do your oil changes and don“t know where to put the oil at all. people have been coming back with damages to their cars and the managers aren“t even caring to watch what the people are doing! i saw a lady get a oil change and came back 25mins later to have her car smoking because the dummy rookie put car oil in the transmission side of the car. smh! i saw that and was in shock! worse of all i had to teach the rookie how to do an oil change correctly while the young managers were smoking and shooting the breeze joking around without care. i had to tell the young so-​called managers to come over and tell him he needs to watch these guys because they don’t have a clue. gives me the answer oh yaa don’t worry they know what they are doing smh uhh huh said the smoking transmission suv next to me geeezz!!! alot of lube works customers are leaving to other places. move on to a new oil change place folks. it’s not the same anymore, they charge alot more, and almost an hour service for a change out. it comes with poor service, very poor knowledge, as well the bad training of staff! all i can see is a long road of multiple lawsuits every 2 months or so.

I was very SAD when I pulled up and realized that this location was no longer Lube Works. VERY SAD. I was already in line, and definitely needed the oil change. When the man came to my window to get my information, I was informed that my 100% synthetic oil change would no longer cost me $ 55 and jumped to $ 75, which is basically the same price as everywhere else… which also defeated the purpose of me driving all the way here to save money. Lube works, I was in an out in about 15 minutes. I waited for about 30 minutes until I was able to pull up into the car port.
I thought it was interesting that they gave you the option to stay in your car as the oil change was performed. I stayed in my car. Customer service, it was ok. They were all over the place, and very disorganized. My oil change took about 30 minutes. I had purchased my own wiper blades and asked if they could be put on for me. Silly me I bought the wrong wiper blades, so they had to put my old ones back on, which were put on incorrectly.
I had to remind the associated about 3 times that I had not paid for my services before they actually took my card from me, lucky i’m honest. at the end of the day it cost me about 87 with taxes, which is not appreciated. Not to mention they didn’t know how to reset my oil change notifier in my car.

Utterly clueless and lacking in customer service. Previously at this location was the family owned Lube Works, that is sorely (Did I say, SORELY?) missed. I waited longer to get my car in the bay than I ever spent at Lube Works. Take your business to Grease and Go on the White Horse Pike.

I was a loyal customer to Lube Works for 11 years before they were recently bought out by Valvoline, told them I was skeptical based on the Unilocal reviews, and advised I wouldn’t be coming back once my oil change was over. These guys are much pricier, less friendly and they pulled the classic sales tactics. Plus my oil was depleted after 1k miles instead of the usual 2250 miles. Not a fan and won’t be returning in the future.
