What a gem! I stayed there for the first time yesterday wow! This is a small fully renovated hotel. The renovation is marvelous. The rooms are very well appointed and very comfortable. I will be in Wabash often and will definatley stay there.

Can’t say enough good things, the hotel only has 30 rooms each different from the other. The restaurant is. Upscale but priced right. The food well it’s outstanding. The rooms and the hotel in particular has so much attention to detail. The wine and chocolate pairing event was great and the pairings were spot on. This is the best hotel stay I’ve ever had, the staff is so hardworking and nice.

I cannot say enough about the Charley Creek Inn. It is one of my favorite places in the world. It is a wonderful little hotel in the heart of Wabash. I had my wedding reception there in the ball room. I’ve eaten there(4.5÷5 stars), slept there(5⁄5 stars), but you cannot REALLY judge a hotel until you’ve planned an event there. Oh my goodness, it was an incredible experience. Howard K. is the General Manager, and he is a gift from God. The Events Planner at the time was unimpressive(I’m unsure if she’s still there), and maybe Howard noticed we weren’t pleased, or maybe my mother said something. Either way, he stepped up and spoiled us the entire way. I don’t think he ever turned a request down. If he did, he then always had an even better suggestion. I really can’t say enough about the entire process. It was so wonderful, never hitting a snag. We received so much praise from guests for the gorgeous reception. I love this place from the roof to the ball room, including the staff. Highly recommended!

What an amazing hotel! Every single room I went in was better than the next. We had two rooms(a Jr. Suite and a regular queen room) and both were fantastic. I was the matron of honor in a wedding held there so I also saw a larger suite and the Honeymoon suite all of which were just phenomenal. On top of that the staff at the front desk was just great. The wedding reception was impeccably done and the catering staff(especially Kim) were amazing. All around a really great experience and if I ever have a chance to go back to Wabash we will stay there again for sure. Oh and my kids and my husband give the candy store downstairs 5 stars as well!

Ate lunch here with my daughter. Had the asian salad & it was horrible. I only ate the chicken off of it. It appeared to be bagged greens that were not fresh. Also the grated carrots were very dry. The dressing tasted funny. Just not a good salad.

We visited Wabash to attend a high-school reunion, and chose the hotel due to its central location, but were immediately impressed when we walked in the door and viewed the beautifully restored lobby displaying dozens of awards for the restoration. Our room was spacious and in perfect condition. The bathroom was huge with top notch fixtures. The bedroom had a large flat-screen TV with about 60 channels. A really nice touch was the Keurig coffee maker with a nice assortment of coffees and teas. We only had breakfast in the beautifully decorated restaurant, «Twenty,» but it was excellent and very reasonably priced. Jon S.

My wife and son stayed at the Charley Creek Inn couple of days over the 4th of July weekend when we were in Wabash to visit family. We had heard about the Charley Creek Inn, but this was our first visit. Wow! What a treat it was to stay at such a nice hotel in a small town. For not much more than it would have cost to stay at the major chain’s economy hotel, we stayed in a beautiful, quiet boutique hotel. Rooms were immaculate and very nicely appointed. The staff was always accommodating but otherwise very much in the background. There is parking in a small lot just to the west of the hotel. We did not use the restaurant for regular meals but did have a group lunch in their restaurant, Twenty. We ordered a wide range of lunch entrees, including pastas, salads and sandwiches and everyone was pleased with their meals. Wabash has some amazing reasons to visit including ongoing development of a number of historical sites and museums, the Honeywell Center, and the Charley Creek Inn. We’ll definitely plan on staying again on our next trip!

I haven’t stayed in the inn, but I ate lunch here today and was quite impressed. The food was quite tasty and the atmosphere is very nice. I felt like I was at a hotel in Chicago… it is a great escape from middle of no where Indiana. There is also a chocolate shop, art gallery, and a wine/cheese shop that also carried some microbrews that I doubt are available at any of the local liqour stores. My only complaint about my lunch was the service. The waitresses seemed to need a little more training to be less applebee’s and more classy. I also can’t stand when an appetizer is served thirty seconds before an entrée.
