This place is stunning! Sandy and Allen are wonderful, kind, considerate people. They dote on you and make sure everything is to your liking. They even check if you need any specific dietary measures taken due to allergies, etc. I would also add that breakfast itself is a delicious work of art and no item goes without careful attention to detail. The rooms are amazing! Everything about the place is Victorian splendor at its finest. The mattresses are great, too. I slept like a rock. I will definitely plan another stay on a return trip to Indiana!

My mom stayed here in mid-October when the changing leaves are really beautiful in that residential area, so this sprawling Victorian B & B near the other grand homes on Hill was perfect for her to stroll around and view the trees and houses. Sandy and Allen are very gracious and try to anticipate every need; they even loaned their laptop when Mom couldn’t get hers online. We were served a healthy, elaborate and upscale breakfast on china, crystal and linen, and they checked every evening what sort of things we’d like the next morning. The house is gorgeous and opulent, almost over-the-top Victorian, best for Victoriana fans and the over-50 set, I’d imagine: fancy curtains, antiques, Victorian wallpapers, and our suite had an adjacent marble bath with bidet!(ask for the white room). Everything is absolutely sparkling clean and very comfortable. Mom slept like a baby in that big bed, she said, and that’s rare for 68-year-olds. Neighborhood incredibly quiet except that a train toot-toots on through a few times every night, although Mom didn’t hear it. We walked to downtown Wabash every day for lunch or dinner, about 3 blocks, since the inn only serves breakfast, then hung out in the parlor by the fire in the chilly afternoons. Surprisingly affordable for the level of elegance provided. Would recommend for city or West-coast travelers wanting a small-town B & B experience.
