Myself and friend checked in on Monday March 242014. being close to the regional airport is why we picked this property and being a best western rewards member I have never had a bad experience until now. this property doesn’t have a shuttle to the airport(found out after check in) no bottles of water in the room, the room was musty and stale. on the plus side Julia the front desk person was very friendly and out going and apologetic for lack of shuttle but that didn’t help with the 26.00 cab ride. recapping the property is not worth the 72.00 a night they charge look else where for a better place to stay.

I could go 3.5 stars for this place but not higher than that. On the positive side, we were allowed to check in early and were upgraded to a suite for the same price as a regular room. The manager on duty was really nice. The hotel is recently renovated and so the carpet is new and everything is updated. The room is perfectly adequate, though a bit small for a suite. We’ve stayed at BW Plus at other locations that were better and bigger. With two people it is not that big a deal. There are two 42″ HD TVs, one in the extra room and one in the bedroom, which is convenient. The free breakfast was fine but not as good as some BW Plus we have stayed. On the negative side, the hotel is extremely close to I-35 so you need to get a room not facing the highway. There is a small road that runs behind the hotel that is surprisingly noisy because the windows are thin. The free wi-fi did not work, so slow that we could not get a connection, so luckily we had our phones with 4G. When the AC came on it was so loud that it sounded like a plane taking off in our room. There were various dead bugs in the room which means either it was not well cleaned or had not been used for a while. The safe in the room was locked by the previous tenant and could not be used, this is something that maintenance should check between each stay.
