Great little crafty place located on Baylor’s campus! They have lots and lots of wall décor, Vera Bradley, sorority items, Toms, and game-day dresses. They also now have a section where you can paint your own stuff at the store. I loved coming in every week to check out the new stuff.

It is a good thing that there is some distance between myself and Harts n Crafts. When it comes time to head up 35 though I think I have found a good stopping point. The store caught my eye while I was grabbing a coffee nearby. To quote the lovely and talented Tina Fey, «I want to go to there.» Flower pots bursting with seasonal blooms, colorful painted ceramic signs on the front porch and ribbons hanging in the windows? I am having a baby girl in 6 weeks and even though her bedding is black and I have insisted on no babyish items or overwhelming hues of pink I had the sudden urge to find something cute — stat. I bought an adorable painting, made by a Baylor gal, with birds and swirls and trees and fruits AND surrounded by a very oh so cool James Dean’ism’ — «Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die today.» It will look great in the baby’s room! In her review, Cate W. did a great job of outlining the other neat items that can be purchased. I too agree that if you need a gift for a gal, this is the place to go. You can’t beat cute, local, one of a kind and handmade.

Great place to buy a present for any female who likes bright colors and cutesy stuff. They sell decorations like frames, wooden letters, magnets and pillows, tons of things emblazoned with sorority letters, hand-painted TOMS, cute Baylor shirts, Threadless tees(I think they’re Threadless. That style anyway: clever sayings on soft shirts), greeting cards and more, I’m sure. The staff makes a lot of the frames and letters, which is the best part. This isn’t mass-produced, it’s local art! This store is set up in an old house with the different rooms full of different items — so cute! Kitchen stuff in the kitchen, bedroom stuff in the back bedroom. Definitely get style points for the environment. You can buy plain frames, letters or even TOMS shoes and paint them at the store! Prices include the cost of supplies. They also do custom work. Overall it’s just a really cool set-up: owner is a Baylor grad who liked crafts and decided to open her own store. It’s local, it’s original, it’s a fun, creative place!

I stop in this place on my way to and from Dallas. Whenever I need a gift for a girl this is the first place that comes to mined. They have so many hand made and unique ideas throughout the store. If you need a gift for a girl who just moved in to a dorm, apartment or house, this should be the first place you go. They have tons of wall art with all kinds of prints and cool quotes. And if your there long enough you will probably fined something cool for your self too! Whenever I get a chance to go by again I am going to order some custom Toms!

This store rocks. There is a little bit of everything for the gals or gal-minded — hipster, kitsch, sorority, a little punk, hippie. The staff is very friendly and they make a lot of the stuff there as well as the owner who is so sweet and very talented with crafty stuff and colors(this lady knows her color-matching!). Needless to say, if you live in a 100 mile radius, you gotta check out this store!
