The typical old school dive BBQ stop. Outside looks rough but the food is great. Had brisket sausage and Bologna ?? Looks like a hot link but taste like smoked lunch meat. The best item that wasn’t on menu was the bacon wrapped jalapeño it was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. If I would have known I would have eaten just those. Service was quick and personable like you were eating at a relatives home will go back and try ribs and chicken

Was in town for my daughters volleyball camp at Baylor, got the hunch for some good TXBBQ and was recommended this spot. Great food! Awesome brisket!!! Had the 3 meat 2 sides!!! Very chilled spot also.

The staff is friendly, but the food left something to be desired. Chicken was dry and I needed more barbecue sauce to eat it. We also had the chopped beef(which was fatty) and sausage sandwich. It was not a good mix. Sweet Tea was really sweet. Must mix with unsweetened in a 3:1 ratio. We will most likely skipped this next time we drive through Waco.

Some of the best ribs I’ve ever had. They have daily specials. And, I recommend you get there early. They sometimes run out of the favorites/specials. Give them a try!

NEWOWNERSHIP… but have no fear, nothing has changed. Still eat on butcher paper, soppin’ gravy, and rat cheese. Same old Jaspers as in 1913. It is appointment eating in my book. Ate there today! I got a kick out of the Wi-Fi question. This place just got air conditioning last year!
