Kool Smiles

Kool-​Smiles has unfortunately reverted me back to my former opinion of them. Following extensive research of Kool-​Smile practices, I decided it best to refrain from bringing my children back EVER AGAIN.
Additionally, though Kool-​Smiles claims that they now take adult patients, I believe they only mean for the most rudimentary, or basic, care. I unfortunately cracked a tooth which had a previous root canal and was hoping they would be able to fix it easily enough. After several visits I was told it was possible. I scheduled my appt and then following my $ 700+ cash payment to do the work same-​day, they take me back to begin work and only then, pull themselves aside to speak amongst themselves and come back to tell me that they CANNOT do the work necessary, that it will in fact require more visits and MORE MONEY (of course). So I demanded a refund for the work they did not do and left, gladly to never return again. Several months later, I receive a bill for $ 15 for an extra x-​ray that they suggest they ordered during the process of my tooth repair fiasco. Despite my objection, they insisted it was legitimate and I decided to pay and not ruin my finances over a measly $ 15, and have copies made for their file and my own.
I would like to say I have not heard from them since, but they have an inept staff that for some reason cannot understand that neither I nor my children will be returning and despite their saying they’ll «Mark you down so you don’t get contacted again,» I received several e-​mails, voicemails, and calls, suggesting I reschedule an appointment until I took it upon myself to block them. Only them has my ordeal come to an end.
Save your children and yourself the trouble, the financial hassle, the mental pain and go elsewhere for your dental needs.
