Moving from Chicago, I have eaten at probably 100 restaurants by now. I am not referring to chain restaurants by the way. I graduated from those a long time ago. This restaurant is possibly the worst I have visited. They have it all;the worst customer service and worst tasting food you will ever have. It’s really unfair to actually pay for this food. If you opening up a restaurant to pay bills, buy nice things at people’s expense, that’s just wrong. There are actually real Mexicans cooking so it is super strange that the food would taste so terrible. I ordered a patron margarita and the server made it. Hahaha. She was like, «I am getting better at this.» I told her it needed more tequila. To match the service and quality of tip, I left only about 15% tip. This is actually generous. Hopefully and really restaurant opens up in that space within the next few months. You know what I mean by that statement.

I’ve lived in Dallas and Austin, and I found this place to be refreshing after moving to Waco. Waco doesn’t have many restaurants but this one was the best bang for your buck. Affordable, good food, and great service!

I have to say that I’m extremely surprised about the rating on this establishment. We came here on a Thursday for dinner and I have to admit, it was one of the most flavorful Mexican food I have had and I’m from Houston where there is a Mexican restaurant on pretty much every block. Our meals were so good!(Bistec Ranchero). I got their mango margarita– delicious; and my husband got their cantarita — also very tasty. We’ll definitely be back very soon

Great little place, they have weekly specials, and have karaōke also. They also have a bar area.

The past few times I’ve eaten here I have not been impressed. The quality of food and service have declined and they do not offer many specials anymore. I don’t think I’ll be coming back as often anymore. There are other mexican places that offer better food and service.

BEWAREOFTHEBUFFET. Unless you enjoy digesting staples. Let me back up. I went here with a friend and after looking over the uninspired menu I opted for the buffet. All I got was the shredded iceberg lettuce, chicken, guacamole and tomatoes. Safe, I foolishly thought. After getting through the bland guac and tasteless chicken I started digging around in the mealy lettuce, which had to be previously frozen. That’s when I saw a metal staple on my fork mixed in with the greens ready to go into my mouth and toward my internal organs. That would have been a fun trip. So I called over the waitress and asked her to comp my meal as I did not want to try my luck at the buffet anymore. She gave some lame excuse about the business cards being placed above the buffet and maybe that’s where the staple came from. I told her to just comp me the $ 8 and maybe consider moving business cards away from the buffet and maybe refresh the lettuce. This did not happen. What did happen is some guy claiming to be the manager came over and said, «how did the staple get into your food?!» No «I’m sorry», no «thank you for telling us», I doubt they even through out the salad. I told him the staple most likely got into the food because of carelessness and just to comp me. His reply was that I was being a smart ass and that I should not talk to him this way. He was incredibly off stand offish and at one point told me that I was making HIM angry. In the end nothing was comped salad was left unchanged and I left in disgust. All I could think of when leaving is that I hope they threw out the salad and none of the children that were in the buffet line with me ended up in the emergency room. So here is a place where the slop is both literally and metaphorically inedible. I’ll be back but only to make sure this place is shut down.
