Checked in last night. Just happened to stumble upon it. Truck and trailer parking any large vehicle for that matter but not a lot of spots. Maybe 4 – 5 lots of bobtail room Fridge and microwaves in the room Very pleasant staff Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful The rooms were very clean an bed was comfortable, just a little too soft for my liking One down side was they have very few tv stations only like maybe 10 – 15 tops One thing that was impressive to me was they offered you a glass of wine at checkin Never have I had a Super 8 do that The receptionist said it’s the owners idea as a welcome relax gesture Pet friendly and only charge one pet fee even tho we have three pets All in all a good value would stay again if in the area

This hotel sucks. Flat out. Bad rooms. Left in room we Had old Cheetos, old dos Equis caps, clogged shower drain, shower head sucked, bed bugs, thin ass walls we heard everything, mattress sunk in, poor TV selection like 8 channels. Had nothing but crap everywhere we looked. Except customer service as I asked for the wifi password and they gave it to me

The staff is very friendly and the check in only took about 5 to 10 minutes. They could use a little remodeling to restore the building back to a newer condition. The room was decent and the sheets were clean.

Stayed here recently while traveling through Texas, but will not stay again. The front desk person was nice enough and was helpful. I had my small dog with me. They charge $ 10 a night for a dog, which isn’t too bad. When I entered the room, there was an odd smell and it was somewhat dark. At that point I figured, I’m only here for one night, in fact less than 12 hours, I could handle it. I turned the AC down as it was a bit warm outside and the room was warm. We left to pick up something to eat. Upon returning about 30 minutes later, the room was still fairly warm, but again, I thought I’m only here for a night’s sleep, I can handle it. Then I went into the bathroom and there were ants coming out of the wall!!! No, no, no… not gonna take that! I immediately called the front desk and she was more than happy to give me another room. I noticed that she didn’t sound too surprised that there were ants in the room. It was late and I thought let me try the other room and if it’s too awful, I will just find another hotel. I was given a larger room. It was brighter and it didn’t have that odd smell, in fact, it smelled quite fresh and clean. Even the bed and bed linens appeared newer and fresher. That got me thinking, yes, I had my small dog with me and that first room was probably for people with animals. I can’t say this for certain, but it had an odd smell and the ant infestation. I usually stay at Marriott properties as I travel for work, but this had fairly decent reviews, was a reasonable price and allowed dogs with a minimal fee. All that being said, I will make a different choice if I ever need to stay in Waco again.

We checked in just after midnight and the front desk clerk left a lot to be desired. Check in took longer than needed. When we walked in instead of a friendly greeting we got a lazy what are you looking for? When we were finally checked in she just handed us the door key card and mumbled something about the free continental breakfast. I had to ask what room number was and how to get to it. The room was clean a d had what appears to be standard super 8 stuff. Free wifi, tv, basic cable, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker with coffee fixings, hair blow dryer, alarm clock and phone. The bathroom only had towels for showering. No towels by the sink like the others had. And the trash cans did not have trash bags in them. They were just sitting on side of can. Now I’m not lazy and am perfectly capable if putting bags in trash cans but when you pay that much for a room and you are already tired from a long day if traveling who wants to have to deal with that? The bed was comfortable although it only had 2 pillows on the king sized bed. Our room was at the front and there was lots of noise from the highway but we were too tired to really care. Check out was quick and the front desk clerk was warm and welcoming. Which was a nice change from the night before.
