We love this place, and make a point to get there about once a month. Today we bought a case of their best wine to add to our wine bar selections. We can’t wait to share their fabulous wines with our customers. If you have a chance to drop in the winery don’t hesitate to stop and find your new favorite!

This is a great place to stop for some very good local wine. You can bring your own food or purchase from their limited menu of cheese, crackers, or smoked meats. They don’t have a food license, but are happy to sell you a block of cheese and a package of crackers that you open and eat at your table. The staff is knowledgable and extremely accommodating. You can book a private party here, and there are often events such as tonight’s jazz night with a band. There is a wine club you can join; it’s free and you get discounts on all your purchases! You can’t beat that.

This winery doesn’t look like much from the outside, but is definitely worth visiting if you want to taste some of the best wines being made from Texas-grown fruit. The owners are really genuine, friendly people, and the tasting room has a very relaxed, non-pretentious vibe. As for the wines themselves, I would definitely recommend tasting their Tempranillo for red wine drinkers. It is a fantastic wine paired with most red meats or Italian dishes. They use to sell a Tepranillo-Malbec blend that I adored, but I think they’ve sold out of it. As for the whites, I wasn’t overly impressed with their Viognier, but I had a glass of Vermentino, an Italian grape, that was really crisp and flavorful. If you get the chance, go on a Saturday night for one of their live music nights. I would advise you to bring your own food, as they don’t have much of a selection. Since the tasting room is connected with the winery, it can be fairly cold inside even in the summer.
