Xterra White Tanks Mountain Trail Run 2012

this series is always alot of fun. Xterra puts on a few runs throughout the valley every year… estrella, white tanks, mcdowell, black canyon. the races usually have a 7−8k option or longer, up to 20k options. very well, organized, they hand out tons of prices and shwagg at their events. there is a breakfast buffet of eggs, salsa, bagels and muffins of all types, p-​butter, oranges, and bananas. and they always have plenty of water and gatorade on hand.
what i like best about these events are the Xterra team members who put together the races. they are ALWAYS in a good mood, smiling, and super friendly. putting on an event that seems to grow with each race i’m sure is stressful. but they never seem stressed. i’m looking forward to more races with them. now… if they could only do something about my finishing time… i need it to be FASTER!
