I booked Bellezza Avanti to do hair and makeup for myself and my four bridesmaids for my wedding (held a few miles away in Doylestown). The location was great, and I loved the fact that they had so many stylists available for us. We had two makeup artists and at least three hair stylists (maybe more?), ensuring that everyone was ready to go around the same time. All of our stylists did a fantastic job! I and my girls looked great, and I was very pleased with the whole experience. It was a relaxing time before my wedding, if you can believe it.
Prices are a bit higher than what you might find in other salons, and the bridal hair/​makeup fee does not include a trial run. That said, I was 100% happy with the styling and service. (In fact, I’d even go so far as to say you could get by WITHOUT doing the trial run at all – the stylists are that great!) Highly recommend this salon for brides and special occasions! I received a gift certificate, so I decided to go for a spa pedicure. The first time I visited, I was very pleased with the service I received. The girl was friendly and gave me a really good pedicure. She seamed to really know her stuff. My second visit for a pedicure was just OK. I was a little disappointed by the meager polish selection to choose from. Also, if you go, be sure to not sit in the third chair. The water jets don’t work. Both times I saw an employee fiddle around with it and say, «I wonder what’s wrong with this.» Yea right! Hopefully this has been or will soon be fixed.
I do plan to visit again. I have gotten good pedicures here. I’ll update my review. Maybe the 3rd time’s a charm…
