Stopped in for a beer with my husband. The bartender took it upon herself to not provide us change for 2 draft beers, putting 3+ dollars in the tip jar. A big turn off! If your service deserves a good tip, we have no problem giving out a good tip, at least provide us that opportunity.

Great atmosphere. Came for late lunch with my daughter. Don’t order the ice tea– it taste spoiled. Both of us got the philly cheese steak with loaded fries. The fries over done, cheese was crispy like they say in the window under lamp to long and little bacon.
Service super slow– took 15 to get the check.
I think place is better when the owner is in, food is perfect normally and service is better.

Fun place to grab some beers. Patio is nice in warm weather with lots of flat screens. I think the burgers are good but that’s just about it. Now for the bad. The rest of the menu is down right terrible. Wings used to be great but they must have switched food venders. Cook can only do do much with the quality at hand. Owner needs to upgrade his menu. The chairs are the worst. They are old and rickety, no swivel. Like your in a toddlers high chair. Getting in and out of them is an adventure. Men’s bathroom is a joke. Too small for that bar. Hey, here’s an idea. Put the hinges on the other side of the door so the whole bar doesn’t have to watch guys standing at the urinal. Maybe new ownership would breathe some life into that bar.

The place is nice and the menu is huge like the portions. Bar atmosphere with tables along the outside. Had the chicken paprikash soup and split the oki ceasar salad. Food is good. Defeninetly worth checking out. If you don’t order the fat man off the menu you will gain a couple pounds just looking at it.

There are a few things on the menu that were delicious. However, I believe they need to get over themselves. By that I mean the prices are as if they have a 5 star chef preparing it. You are not a New York Gastro Pub. Stop pricing like you are! So my recomendation is, if you wanna spend $ 8 for a burger with no sides this is an excellent choice, otherwise walk next door to the Subway and at least get your drink and a bag of chips for your money.

Had TERRIBLE service there. Sat outside on the patio on a Saturday evening with 5 others. Our waitress forgot to put in one of the orders. It didn’t come out until everyone was almost done. She forgot beers we ordered multiple times. Also, she just handed us the check and never said thank you. Just go to Applebee’s across the street. Better service and just as good food.

Not a fan. I went there one time. The staff was really cool and tried to help. But it’s very small. There is not anything staff can do about that. Seemed like they didn’t keep up on ordering stuff for the kitchen. They were out of certain things. Seemed like they didn’t care about business. Like they were better then you. Funny thing is I have never heard of it until I just went in to try a new place. I would rather go to Applebee’s across the street. Not a fan of this place.

Okay, casual bar. Better than average food. The liquor selection was adequate, and the staff is friendly. It’s the sort of place I’d go back to, but wouldn’t really go out of my way to get to. If you’re close, try it.

I rated it two stars rather than one only because I think this could be a good atmosphere to have a beer. The service was good but the food was lacking. and overpriced. I ordered the wild wing pizza and I would definitely not recommend it. It was drenched in ranch dressing which was used as the sauce. There was no description and the only item on the pizza that had wing sauce was the pieces of chicken. My recommendation would be to skip the food and enjoy the beer. I will think twice about coming back.

I have friends that have raved about Spunkmeyers, but I found it to just be average across the board. The food was bland and the service seemed very disorganized. It wasn’t bad, but wasn’t good either. When the weather is nice the outdoor patio is nice for sipping some adult beverages with friends.

Don’t be fooled by the appearance of this place. What it lacks in appeal from the outside, it makes up for with great drinks, amazing staff, and a killer menu on the inside. It features two separate bars, and a patio (when the weather permits) plenty of TV’s, and seating.
Being new to the area, I tried Spunks out. I was greeted by some of the best bar staff I have ever dealt with, enjoyed delicious food, and picked from an ever changing beer selection.
I have never looked back from that first experience and visit this place as often as I can.
Many events to attend here as well. Football games, holiday parties and beer tastings are the best. Seems there is always something fun going on.
Give this place a try and you won’t be sorry.

While visiting family in town, we visited Spunkmeyer to watch college football. The patio is amazing! If you arrive before kick off of the Ohio state game, you get a cup for a free beer every time Ohio scores a touch down. We did not try their food, however it looked delicious! I will try their stuffed mushrooms and stuffed green peppers next time I visit.

Been here twice… yuck. The food is over priced, $ 8 for a burger or sandwich and that doesn’t even include fries. The burgers are dense frozen patties and pretty much everything else on the menu is deep-fried. Both my husband and I horrible stomach issues the following day; which then turned into the next 2 weeks. Now we are dealing with over $ 1000 in medical bills between the two of us. Can’t 100% say it was the food! but pretty coincidental it happened the day after we both ate there. So go at your own risk.
On a semi bright note they have a very nice patio in the back, however it’s a smokers haven. So if you don’t smoke, it’s really not that great to hang out on.

Don’t be fooled by the outside appearance. Bland strip mall with tinted windows. Inside the atmosphere is amazing. FANTASTIC food. Cannot believe it is this good and the menu is so expansive. Don’t forget to check out the restrooms. You’re welcome.

Great place… and Caitlin deserves 10 Stars! Pretty simple review. I had nothing to eat and only drank beer. But even if the food was crap and the beer was warm this place would still get 5 stars… why? Because of Caitlin. Over the top customer service. Super friendly. Always asking if we (about 6 – 7 people, mainly half drunken guys) if we need anything. And always SMILING!!!
Thanks Caitlin… because after being next door at Bar 252 I was ready to go home. You made the night better!

Traveling on business, I always check Unilocal before I stop to eat… this place is a great local pub with great food, great atmosphere and great service. Kaitlin was tending bar and happens to be the GM… service was superior. Visit this place and tell Kaitlin that Tom from NJ says HI!!!
Seriously, great place to chill for the night.

This was the second time I’ve been here, the fist where I actually checked in or written a review. The last time was at least a couple years ago. It’s a pretty cool place — nice pub sort of atmosphere. On this occasion I had the reuben pizza and a side of garlic fries. Both were very good, but nothing that I would get all fanatical about. Still, a very good local spot for a beer and some good food.
