Restaurant been in business for 65 years must be doing something right. Breakfast was one of the best that I ever had. There fried chicken is great, chicken fried steak is still Hand breaded the best .You must try it yum

Back in the day, this wasn’t a bad place to eat, but the service and food quality have gone WAY downhill. Usually, my kids and I would pop in for breakfast, so I can only address that particular meal. My big complaint is that service is slow, even when there are only a few customers. Plus, the food is not cooked to order. For example, I ordered a steak with my eggs, and I ordered it rare, yet when I received it, it was overcooked, therefore I had to send it back. Of course, by the time I got it back, my eggs were cold. Then, when I started to eat my eggs, I noticed the yolks were runny — I ordered them cooked well(yeah, yeah I hate runny yolks!). Strange but true! Rare steak, hard cooked yolks — go figure! Anyway, this wasn’t the only time it happened. Also, I ordered biscuits and didn’t get them, so had to ask for them. My coffee cup was empty for so long that I had to remind the waitress for a refill which doesn’t bode well — same with my daughter’s iced tea; had to wave down the waitress in order to get another serving! The omelettes are another thing — mine was lacking in flavor and seemed scorched. Wish I could recommend this place, but in good conscience, I can’t. Better to try Main Street café if you want a great breakfast; their omelettes are scrumptious and service is top notch!

Poor service, slow service for only having 4 other customers. They seem to neglect the diner side and focus on the bar side. I’m sure it brings in more money since the food quality and service is absolutely dreadful. It does have a lot of potential if it were better managed but as it is, I don’t recommend. For this type of food I would tell you to go to Boomerang or Main St Café.

Service lacking: took about 15 minutes before we ordered drinks and 45 minutes for our breakfast. They forgot to bring toast and juice with my breakfast, but still charged me for it. The hash browns were undercooked. The only okay part was the biscuit and gravy. We won’t be back.
