Wahoo Heritage Inn Hotel

Room was clean and quiet at night which is what probably really matters.
For a small town, non-​chain hotel this place is fine. It is a pretty bare bones hotel but nothing wrong with it.
The hotel could use some updating. One thing I will say is that the pillows are small and pretty beat up. If they did a single thing to improve the place it would be to replace pillows.
The wifi could be stronger, they could update the tv’s, electrical plug-in’s should be more convenient.
One downside, either part of the hotel still allows smoking or they had smoking rooms at one point and you can just smell it in the hallways. Not a big deal, but if you are real sensitive to it, you should be aware ahead of time.
Overall, the hotel is quiet, clean and safe.

This is a special, special place. Given that it’s the only place to stay in Wahoo, this is what you get. Just be prepared for much more motel than hotel. And you’ll also get to meet some pretty interesting characters during your stay.

Though the name is inexplicable – the place is about ten years old– it is a good value. I got a very clean, well maintained, comfortable room, and was assisted by very competent and smiling staff for $ 40 a night. Are you f***ing kidding me? It’s not Taj Lake Palace, but it accomplishes perfectly what it intends to do.
