I just got a fabulous cut and color from Kara. The best part is she did exactly what I asked for. She was a pleasure to chat with and very professional. The salon is in the home. But, when you walk in its very nice and she has an actual little salon set up in the back of her house. She even had fresh juice to serve when I arrived. I’m excited to finally feel like I’ve found a stylist that I can stick with.

I needed my roots done on a Monday so, not gonna lie, I only looked at places that were open Monday. I’m so grateful Kara could take me. Her setup and skills are professional, and she impressed me with her personable nature and questing attitude. And, oh, yes, I LOVE my color!

Another awesome haircut for my daughter done by Kara, she is excellent with children. She also was has very fair prices for men’s line ups and trims.

I have the privilege of saying affordable, high quality salon services are available on the north shore. I came in for a cut, but left with a full experience. First of all, Kara’s salon doesn’t just have the appearance to be homey, it is. When you’re there you feel like you are in the hands of a loved one, Kara treats you like family and her livelihood happens to be her labor
of love. To say that Kara is experienced and educated in her field is an understatement. The entire visit Kara educated me on the business she represents, hair tips and all other aspects in caring for hair that sustains a lot of sun, salt, and sand.
I was hesitant to bring along my two small children (five months and two), but strangely enough my kids felt as if they were in their home as well. Kara provided entertainment and even tended to their needs! Literally, I CANNOT wait to come back!!!
If I could give more stars I would.

One of the absolute best haircuts I’ve ever had. Kara will be cutting my whole family’s hair until we leave the island! She will make you laugh and make you look good!

I was in an absolute panic when I met with Kara; I total hair emergency. She accepted me that day with not questions asked. When I got to her place, I immediately felt comfortable and at ease telling her how I had ruined my hair (extension fiasco) was going to have to shave it off, etc. She gave me some advice, recommendations, and totally saved what was left of my hair. She made me feel beautiful again!
I cannot thank Kara enough. If you live on the North Shore you should be getting your hair cut from her, no questions asked.

Kara is amazing! Very talented, easy to talk to and a beautiful location. I am excited to have my hair done by her again. It was a great experience and I can’t wait to go back. She does facial waxing too! A true gem on the north shore.

I moved to North Shore couple month ago and it took me 3 painful visits to other salons to find a keeper! Kara took me without questions the the same day. I thought I’ve seen it all when it comes to good hairstylist, boy i was wrong. I am incredibly particular, have difficult grey to cover and it tends to turn orange — Kara is amazing not just dyed my roots but gave it depth by using tree different colors on it. Finding a stylist that listens to what you want and goes out of their way and also is able to talk you off the ledge when you doing the same boring outdated color month after month is priceless!
To cut all the crap out there is three reasons i will go back:
1) expertise
2) good price
3) being able to take me on a short notice Did i mention that Paul Mitchell products and blow dry made my hair look good for a week after! (with some dry shampoo of course)
