Julie’s Place

Today was my first time at Julie’s Place. I wanted a hair cut but after seeing some of their work via Unilocal,fb, ig, I really wanted to highlight as well. I called in the morning but the only opening they had was for a hair cut, which was fine because that was all I originally wanted. I got there and Sandra was my stylist, I have medium length hair and wanted to go shorter because I’m always tying it back anyway, I asked Sandra for her opinion and went with her suggestions. I also asked if she had time for highlights and after checking her schedule she was able to squeeze in my highlights too. I’m so happy and stoked with the way my cut and highlights came out! I was so nervous at first because the last time I wanted short hair, the salon I went to hacked it off and made a mess of it. I haven’t had a regular stylist in years, I just been going to random places, but Sandra, she made the time and put in the effort, she knows her stuff and her recommendations were on the money! I just found me a hair stylist! THANK YOU Sandra! I couldn’t be any happier with the way my hair turned out!

Love this place! I’ve had both Julie and Sandra do my hair and love them both! I always feel so flirty and care-​free after stepping out. The salon is located on the rest camp entrance road. Parking is difficult sometimes especially if the beach is packed that day. Pricing is very reasonable and the quality and service is great!

I’m very picky and very selective when it comes to a hairdresser and since I’ve got hair like 3 ft long it was a hard decision to make. it started with going in to see Sandra for blonde bangs, then went to chunks around my head, next was purple over the blonde and now being that the quality of work was exceptional I’m blonde. I love Julie’s place I come from waimanalo and the drive to Waianae for all my hair needs is well worth it #HAIRBYSANDRAk

Love this place! I’ve been getting my hair done here for a while now and I’ve never been dissapointed. In fact, even after I moved out of waianae… I still make the drive to get my haircut/​colored & styled by Sandra K.

Got my hair trim last week with a last minute appointment. They were very welcoming and kind. The stylist did an awesome job!!! I just found me a new hair salon

Don’t let the outside of the building scare you off… Julie’s place is top notch. The prices are incredible for the quality of service you’ll receive. I’ve only been here a few times now but I’ve definitely found my hair haven. The stylists are always very professional and will talk it up with you if you want or in my case will let you completely relax and turn off the social butterfly within. I absolutely love this place.

Versatile hairstylists from updos to the latest of styles. They do some beautiful hair coloring and their cuts are creative just how you like it. Everyone of them are so talented and gifted. You walk out feeling so special and beautiful!
